What can you say- it is wireless, for the Xbox360 and is SHINY RED CHROME finish!! Definitely very cool. The one we received had obviously been out of the box (and the box was really beat up) but it works and the price was decent. It works as one would expect an Xbox controller would work. Walmart definitely had the best price online.

As far as XBOX 360 controllers go, this one is great in many respects - it's functional, the directional pad rotates (giving you the choice between a traditional D-pad and the more familiar XBOX disc-like D-pad), and it's aesthetically pleasing. The red chrome finish (though clearly not top quality) is very attractive, though I'm not certain how it will stand up to the test of time or long gaming sessions.
There are a few snags, however:
1.) The controller comes with batteries and a traditional back, which is really Microsoft's fault for not making its controllers rechargable in the first place. I highly suggest getting either the Play and Charge kit (with the matte silver controller), or the charging base with the additional rechargable battery packs.
2.) The analog sticks no longer have the tiny nubs in the four directions, which really help you keep a better grip on the controller during intense play.
3.) The battery casing doesn't match the chrome exterior. Instead, it's matte black, which is the only aesthetic design flaw in an otherwise great controller appearance.
Overall, of the three controllers in the Chrome series, the red really is the most attractive of the bunch, but if you're a collector, like me, you probably already have the other two.

The only thing that could make this controller better would be if they changed the xbox leds to blue and made the chrome d-pad into a golden chrome design.... Why? Well, it would look like IRON MAN!
