The NEC Multisync LCD225 WXM LCD Monitor is a good choice for playing games and watching videos. This LCD monitor is 22 inches wide, and has a quick 5ms response time for smooth movement during fast-action scenes. The NEC widescreen monitor has a 16:9 aspect ratio allowing you to view two documents side by side, and watch movies the way they were meant to be seen. It features a high 1680 x 1050 pixel resolution for clear HD pictures. The anti glare LCD monitor displays 16.7 million colors for lush, realistic color rendering. This refurbished LCD monitor is energy-star qualified.

The unit that I received is a "USED" unit not considered as "REFURBISHED". Because it manufactured in 2008(today is 2012-4 years old) with many scratches and no instruction manual. Its physical size is big and thick, not thin and slim. So I returned it back to Walmart.

The packing was exceptional, however when hooked up the colors seem to bleed together some. The picture overall is not clear up close, seems blurry. Have not found how the speakers work, but when I want to play music there is no sound. When there is sound on-line I can hear the sounds.

Missing CD Rom, Instructions and Audio Cable--WHY?

Even though an item is refurbished, it should include the manufactures items. I'm missing the CD Rom, User intructions and the Audio Cable to use the speakers. Won't buy anything else unless brand New. Live and learn. Joysystems sold me the unit through Walmart and they were NO Help at all. They told me these items don't get included. Don't waste your time and money on refurbished. Thought I would try but lost again. Terrible customer service.

Wide screen monitor

Got this about two weeks ago. Plugged in the cords, attached the power cord matched everything to the computer. XP did it's thing loading drivers for the video card and monitor. With all the space I am almost overwhelmed. No problems and it is really nice to have the extra screen to work with. You won't go wrong with this monitor.

After spending so much money, so many times on ebay for used monitors, I should have looked at Walmart's opportunity for GREAT SAVINGS! I first researched this NEC monitor at other on-line sites.
This monitor is just like new and I love it! It's bigger, brighter, more versatile, with internal speakers and cheaper than all the monitors I've ever gotten off ebay. And best of all, I purchased it on-line, with PayPal, for ship to store to my local Neighborhood Market just under 2000 feet away! Also, it arrived much quicker than expected! I'd say that Walmart has come a long way to making a lot of us much happier!
