Great fit, great protection

I needed something that gave it some moderate protection against bumps and LIGHT drops, certainly not at the Otterbox level or the like, but general protection. I didn't want the Otterbox bulk added to the ipad and this works great. Also wanted something that would protect the back from scratches when I laid it on counters or tables. This works perfectly for that and in my opinion is relatively stylish. I have a white ipad 4th gen and the white(ish) case works good with it. VERY snug fit, no worries about it working loose or wrinkling over time.

Fit iPad 2 as described and silicone protects iPad sufficiently. I would have given 5 stars, except there was a dark color embedded into the silicone on the front panel which is white and I could not remove dark stain. I chose not to exchange item because I preferred protection of iPad over cosmetics of case. Unlike some cases, this one has front and back protections where comparable priced items were thin plastic covers for back only.
