Ad is stated in such a way that it appears the pendant is much bigger than it is when ad states it is 1 inch. What was not mentioned in ad was that the 1 inch includes the ring at the tip of the turtles nose which joins to another ring that attachs the turtle to the chain (yes, I measured it). The actual size of the turtle ... when placed on a dime was the same size as the dime ~ that's measuring from tip of the turtles actual nose to tail/back leg. While really cute and appears well made, in my opinion the ad is misleading by stating it is one inch long. While the chain is a perfect length for an adult, I feel the pendant is better suited for a child when considering the size of the turtle.

I bought this necklace for a friend for her birthday (I had previously got her the matching earrings). It is a beautiful necklace and she absolutely loves it and wears it frequently. My only concern is that the chain is very thin.
