I purchased it as a birthday gift for my daughter, together with the matching earrings. I expected it to be something she would use on a daily base but now I see it is the kind of jewelry you wear to a special ocassions. It is still beautiful, but more dainty than I expected. The price was okay, except for the special "to home" shipping fee its manufacturer charges, almost one third of the neklace itself. I would recommend it, since it looks strong and an onyx is always special.
