This movie wasn't what I expected. I like Denzel Washington and I expected more than just an action flick. But that's really all this movie is--one big chase scene. There's no intellectual play between characters.
Besides Denzel Washington and Ryan Reynolds, the movie has a few other prominent stars, but they're just making cameo appearances. What a waste of talent. Everyone was a cardboard character.
Examining the movie purely from an "action flick" POV, it works fine, even though it's somewhat predicable. The chemistry between Denzel and Ryan is quite good.
The trouble is that I wasn't looking for a straightforward action movie. All the comments and trailers I'd seen had led me to expect a thriller. Sadly, it wasn't.
Still, if all you're looking for are great action scenes, you'll enjoy this movie.

I drive tour buses this movie was a big hit with the groups I have transported provided great entertainment. non stop action, the only problem was there was no popcorn to serve.
