This was my biggest purchase online so I was kind of skeptic, but it was not sold in the stores at the time so I had no choice. I love it! The site to store process was great, I was able to track my package, with no problem at all. The TV itself is perfect. Got it home, easy to put the stand together. Once it came on the picture was great!!!

I had a 40" version of this TV and it performed great so when I saw the 42" version for less than a lot of 39" models, I jumped at it. I am very pleased with it. The stand is a much smaller than the 40" (Which is weird) but it takes up less space on the stand so its nice. The remotes were identical so I'm familiar with it's use. Everything performs as it should and I'm very pleased with it.

Product was garbage.........
Immediately after setting up the unit I tried to operate the TV via the side buttons and it did not work. The entire side buttons were dead from volume to channel switching. Although the remote worked properly the side buttons did not work and that could lead to other problems.
What I learned was that RCA does not make the units any more they are just the name and some off brand company now build the units.
I returned it for a refund!!!!

I looked at this flatscreen, was interested and then read the reviews. Some people gave it good reviews, others gave it bad reviews. Some poor reviews stated the set up was hard, the sound quality was bad, etc. I took a chance based on the good reviews and purchased this tv. I'm glad that I listened to the good reviews. This is a nice tv, my son has a 42" LG and was impressed with this product as well. He was impressed at the quality of the base of the tv as well as the picture, sound and ease of set up. There is a choice in the set up to allow the tv to adjust the volume based on the channel to keep the volume even, I found that I do not like this due to the volume will fluctuate up and down. I "un-selected" this feature and chose to adjust the volume manually based on digital channel vs standard channel. I love this tv and have absolutely no complaints!!! Great value for the price!!!

Easy to setup,easy instructions, was on in five minutes, has been perfect since purchase. Has build in option for its own surround sound and can get loud at times and has to be turned down. If you do not like this option you can put it on regular sound. Very well satisfied with it, and the great Walmart price.

I saved up to buy a television and settled on this one. When it arrived via Fedex the box had a number of holes in it as if it had been tossed around like a football; after setting the tv up and pluging it in I was very upset by the fact that the screen shattered! While off the tv looked beautiful...but once on there was nothing to see but cracks and bright streaming rainbow patterns across the screen

It broke 9 days after we bought it and we only used it for 3 of those days. When we tried to return it at the store we got passed around for two hours. However, two of the employees were very nice and apologetic

This TV may be cheap, but it's a waste of money. The sound has been terrible since day one and the only way to work around it is to run your sound off a sound system. The screen blacked out completely though the sound still works, and the TV is only (in theory) 1.8 years old. My Panasonic Viera is 6 years old with stellar sound, pictures and features. Don't waste your time on RCA products.

When I received the television I was so excited. We got it all set up, turned it on and all we saw was an image like spider webs. I called RCA tech support and they told me to go buy a better TV. I was shocked!

The picture is as good or better than my Sony Bravia. The sound is not nearly as good, and does not get loud enough on it's own for a large room. It was very hard to set up the tv on the stand it comes with. The plastic is low quality, and the stand is not sturdy.
