Happy with our purchase except for one small thing. We use this tv in our exercise room and often only play a DVD for 30-45 min. Sadly, the DVD player doesn't have play back so we always have to search for the spot we left off at. Kind of annoying but not the end of the world.

The DVD player does not work well on this television--not sure if it is just a defect in my tv, or if it is a problem with the set overall. The DVD player will freeze and not move, even with fast forward or reverse.

This TV is ideal for my bedroom. I was apprehensive about the size of the screen, but it is a perfect size. I wanted a TV with a DVD player, so that I can exercise in my bedroom in the mornings and not disturb anyone. The installation was easy, just be sure you order HDMI cables when purchasing the TV.

Good value for inexpensive product

I initially bought the smaller 22" model for my camping trailer and the built-in dvd player didn't work (as many of the reviews stated). After returning that one I got this larger model and it will work great for my application. The glass tv stand however was shattered upon delivery and had to be returned. I ordered another 26" tv and hopefully the third time is the charm. This is a great value for the price considering Sears has the exact same model for over $100 more than I paid through Walmart.com.

The unit is great. My only complaints are with the ordering process. The price increased $19 and the delivery date got pushed back one week during the checkout process. Since many comments were on how fast the shipping was, I went with it. It was intended as a birthday present on the 27th. It arrived on the 31st. Probably won't use walmart online again, unless I'm in no rush and a similar deal can't be found elsewhwere.
WalMart personnel were, as always, outstanding.

I am very content with my purchase, as I think it makes a great bedroom TV. This is my third 26" RCA Combo Flatscreen/DVD player. Some salespeople try to discourage you from buying a combo. To me, that is it's greatest feature and exactly why I buy them. I've paid as much as $500.00 for this unit at Walmart just 5 years ago, so I think this is a bargain at $200.00. One of my other units took a power surge, and I had a difficult time contacting RCA about it. They didn't list a Service phone number, so I looked it up on-line. That only got me a recorded message that kept repeating over and over, and with every call. Finally called another RCA number and learned that RCA was purchased by a Japanee company, and that the "company" that made my previous unit had gone out of business. Noone was ever going to answer. Found that discouraging, but not a deal breaker for me purchasing another. The TV/DVD performed well, otherwise. This new unit has improved sound quality and a more user friendly remote control than earlier models. Not perfection, but I like them and highly recommend them.
