Works well for what I purchased it for. I use it mainly as a monitor for my laptop. Has all the hook ups for what I want. Picture is good when in TV mode but not as good as the Sony I just purchased. Sound is very good.

Extremely bright clear Picture

I really like this TV. I bought it because it was a cheap 1080p. I use it for a PC Monitor and it's great. Really bright and clear. Couldn't ask for better. I play games and they are fine for FPS. As a TV it works great. plenty of connections. The first one I bought went out on me in a week but Walmart exchanged it immediately no questions ask. The second one I have had for 2 weeks but it works great. I would buy it again. (I did buy the 4 year extended warranty from Walmart for $36 just in case, a real cheap deal)

Inferior quality to the competition

I have owned RCA televisions for many years. I was very disappointed with this television. I thought it would be the good company it used to be, but was sadly mistaken. After opening the box and setting up the television, it seemed to be okay picture quality. After the first night the remote quit responding to the television. At first I thought it was simply a faulty remote, but after testing a brand new universal remote it was actually the infrared sensor in the television. Customer service for RCA was very frustrating and not helpful. After returning the television to Walmart I purchased a Samsung 32". It was substantially better picture quality, more features on the back, and much more user friendly than the RCA. Buyer beware.

Great TV

Total installation time, from opening the box to sitting back down with the remote control was less than 20 minutes. Very easy to set up. The TV swivels on the base making it very easy to set just right. No matter what angle you view this TV you see the full-color on the screen with no blur. How did they figure that out? What a nice feature. No more: "Hey, move the TV this way I can't see the picture." The remote control is very easy to use and understand. It has a neat feature I like called FREEZE. It will freeze a picture so you can stop action. This is great during a sports event. The colors are excellent. It allows you to select what level of color brilliance you like. The sound is awesome. We have over 50 channels of music on our cable system and it's so nice to hear the music through this TV. I can remember when color TV just came on the market back in the late 1950's. The improvements are beyond anything you'd ever been able to imagine. We bought the right TV.

Great picture when it worked

After a couple of hours the remote would not work with the unit. After a while I realized the pilot light was not on, the unit was dead. I could turn it on with the button on the TV and it would work intermittently. Had a great picture and color when it worked. I took it back immediately. Bought a Vizio.

The price was right, however I guess we got what we paid for. We've only had the TV for 4 months and the circuit board is shot already. We put in a work order, but because of the size of the TV. We have to wait for them to send us a shipping box to return it for repairs. My mom has 2 RCA tv's as well and the same thing happened. I completely forgot that important point when I purchased this TV.

I received this TV in 3 days, and not only was it easy to set up but the quality and solidness of the stand, sound, and picture were also matched by the features available. Although I would have preferred that RCA had made the framing piece in a matte finish instead of the shiny reflective surface, I am still absolutely happy with this TV. It is a top-quality, well-made product.

I bought this tv for my upstairs bonus room for my grandkids when they come to stay. Unfortunately I did not check the dvd player to see that it worked and it doesn't and it is past the 90 day limited warranty so I am just out of luck. I should have bought new instead of trying to save a few bucks.

The 1080p screen provides excellent clarity and color. For the price I consider this TV an excellent buy, but if it is the only tv in the house to watch movies or sports I would consider adding external speakers to enrich the sound.

I bought the TV for my wife's birthday and she really likes it. It is used in our bedroom and we like the size of it. Easy to see and hear. I would recommend it to those who need a TV for the bedroom, or for any other room as far as that goes.

I had high hopes for this tv as it was replacing a big old 36" RCA tube tv. It has an easy to assemble stand (really liked the weight of the stand), and has nice sound, but the picture is awful. I have tried to adjust the settings, but no better. I am returning.
