I was up and running with this computer in about 20 minutes after I opened it up. The only issue I had was that it took me some time to realize that the monitor ports are on the rear-bottom and not in the typical location as other PC's, but after that everything else went smoothly. I love it and can't find one real complaint about. It is very fast, powerful and dependable and I can easily work several large programs at the same time without any problems whatsoever. I also enjoy playing PC games on this computer and it can easily handle intensive graphics without problems. -By easily setting and using just one processor for older games instead of all six, I can play games made for windows 95, 98, XP, Vista versions, etc., with ease. Windows 7 games are a breeze too. This computer is a great buy and I really don't understand why it is priced so low for the performance and quality it offers compared to the many other PC's out there.

This is the only one model I found that is 6-core, 12GB RAM and 2TB HDD at this price range. I have checked walmart, bestbuy, costco, amazon, and more online sites. It seems working great as a webserver and for skype talk. I just added USB 3.0 to this computer to maximize my webcam function. And I have ordered the second one (same model) too.

My last computer was put in the junk heap, and I needed a new one. Looking all over the net for a decent one, I remembered that Wal Mart had a plethora of upgrade parts for my son's...so why not try their site to find a complete system. I cross-referenced all the brands, and this "ZT" was looking pretty good. I ordered it, and ONE day later, I received it in perfect shape. The harddrive is super-quiet, while the graphics and burner work well. I ordered my computer less the monitor, and that is no problem, as it handles all displays. The only thing I had to do was put a tv card in, so we can use it like a dvr. So...it has been three weeks since I started it up, and no problems...and talk about quiet, you cant hear it run. I do a LOT of photo work, and every thing is running seamlessly.

It may look funny that I gave the review a good value and a poor in meets expectation. I was really excited when getting the machine but I found a little plastic piece of the machine ... As it was just a minor piece I began checking all the functionality out. Everything was great including they gave a WINDOWS 7 install disk (nice)! I was also impressed that there was not a bunch of junk software installed. I did not like that the machine appeared cheap and plastic like instead of solid ... well most going this way anyway.
So I called customer service to take care of the plastic piece. Lousy. Yes 24/7 customer service (from India) that is not authorized for anything but to have the States office to call back at their convenient time. Run-a-round ... so I though I had this much problem for a small thing ... I took it back. Sad that for a piece that most likely cost $2.00 I had so much trouble.
Possitive: Wal-Mart was fantastic though ... not a problem other than they had to enter the stuff manually ... took a bit longer ... but no problem with returning. I bought an Acer instead ... and very happy with that .. from Walmart.

I shop for the best value with the highest quality...this is it. I shopped on line and back to school sales in stores, nothing comes close to this. Best bang for the buck I could find. (ZT service) I bought two at the same time. One had a broken clip on the face plate of the sd card reader so it would fall off (broken in shipping) left name with customer service, next day they called me and shipped me a whole new card reader ( the whole unit) even though I only needed the 10 cent plastic piece. Did not have to ship anything back or try to make them believe me that I didn't break it. ( I was stunned) Both units run great right out of the box, not loaded with tons of unwanted programs. They look very plain, but if the guts matter and not the box, than stop looking at other models. Very fast, loaded with windows 7, (I didn't want #8, but can get for $14 if I change my mind) the cordless key board mouse are as fast as being wired. I have two monitors hooked to one video card on one computer and it was a easy hook-up. Runs both fast. There are times you spend a lot of money and question yourself if you did the right thing... this was one of those times I was glad I spent the dough!

Very outstanding deal for the hardware. Probably the most power you will get for the dollar. The only thing is the monitor plugs in at the bottom of the back, not in the regular place like it shows on the diagram. Not a big deal, just need to know.

I received this computer and within minutes it crashed(blue screen), then over the next several days the computer crashed constantly as well as programs were constantly crashing. I contacted customer service and was instructed to clear the hard drive and reinstall windows. I did this but it kept crashing, I had a hardware failure and was directed to take it back by the customer service. Nice thing about buying it at Wal-Mart is that is was very simple to return to a store. I don't feel I can give an accurate rating since lemons happen in any product, the customer service was fairly decent I must say. In between it's constant crashing it was nice and fast. I must say if you get a decent one it's probably very nice. I have yet to decide whether to buy another one or not.

I haven't had any problems with this computer so far. *knock on wood* It works great, and the graphics card is awesome. I have played games like Assassin's Creed Brotherhood, Blur, and World of Warcraft all on high settings and it works perfectly.
But be aware, the tower is HUGE. I have to have it turned sideways, since it is too long to fit on my smallish desk.
But this computer is way worth the price! AND you get a wireless mouse and wireless keyboard with it, and they work great, no troubles so far.
If you want a gaming desktop for a low price, GET THIS. It's worth it.

I'm actually an Apple computer person but because of the particular programs I use, Apple was too expensive for me. I originally purchased a Dell Inspiron 545 in 09' and three years later it died suddenly. It was uneconomical to repair so I researched forever for the right computer, one I can depend on. A friend who works for a Walmart store and who is a computer genius told me that all companies use "THE SAME PARTS" in their computers so rather than looking for another brand name that everyone is used to, I found the ZT Affinity 840-0003 on Walmart's website. I was told what to look for in a tower for what was needed for my programs. I do video editing as a business and I needed something that was fast and efficient. This baby's got it all!! 2TB HD 6 Core 3.33 Phenon II processor and an expandable 12 MB memory that can be expanded up to 32 MB and an 8 channel CODEC sound card. The price was right and so far I have had no problems.
What I would say to my friends and others looking for a new computer, forget HP, DELL, GATEWAY or any of the other competitors. They can't hold a candle to this beast. I understand ZT Systems makes parts for these other companies anyhow.

I've owned several computers over the years, and although I've only owned the ZT Affinity 840-0003 a short time, I'm very impressed. This computer is incredibly high speed. It's also the first one that didn't have any problems installing my photographic programs. Large or small, all programs installed as intended. My primary use for this computer is processing/enhancing photographs which takes a lot of memory, but the ZT makes quick work of my whole workflow.
This is a really great computer. Totally satisfied, and thrilled that is made in the USA. Extremely satisfied.

I was a bit skeptic when I purchased this computer. I have never heard of the brand name and was only familiar with Dell, HP, etc…. To my surprise this computer come packed with power. If you try and purchase a similar pc with the same features as this one it would roughly come out to $1,200.00. I did the comparison with an HP on their website. The only little flaw for me was that it does not have a wireless card built in. But that’s fine. I picked one up for $15.00 bucks and works great. There is aloes “lifetime support” which is good if you need assistance. I am pleased that I did this purchase.

to my knowledge, this is the ONLY desktop made in the USA. i am getting ready to buy the one with the i5 core processor to upgrade my home theater system (box to big screen tv :). if more would buy this brand, sure would help our economy. good your you!
