THE BIKE SEEMS TO BE A GOOD VALUE. SINCE HAVING THE BIKE ONLY A SHORT TIME, I DON'T KNOW HOW I WOULD RATE IT OVER TIME. I PURCHASED THE BIKE ON-LINE, SO WALMART WOULD NOT ASSEMBLE IT.. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND BUYING IT ON-LINE UNLESS YOU CAN SPARE AT LEAST A COUPLE OF HOURS TO ASSEMBLE. YOU WILL ALSO NEED SOME METRIC TOOLS AND HAVING SOME HANDY MAN SKILLS WILL BE HELPFUL. I STRONGLY RECOMMEND YOU PURCHASE FROM THE STORE WHERE THEY COME ALREADY ASSEMBLED SAVING YOU A LOT OF TIME AND TROUBLE.

I was able to put it together okay the metric wrenches would have been nice. I took it down to the bike store to adjust the brakes and do any fine tuning. so far so good. I hope I use it a lot and it seems pretty good hard to beat for the price.

I purchased this bike after reading some reviews of it on some biking enthusiast websites- consensus seemed to be that it was a pretty good deal, had features comparable with higher-priced bikes. Have to say I'd agree with those assessments. I bought the bike online and assembled it myself- assembly was easy for the most part- the only hassle was getting the brakes adjusted, which is common to pretty much any bike you put together yourself. My only complaint with the bike is that the chain was not connected to the gearbox when I first received it- I had to reconnect manually. Then, after riding it a few times, the chain completely broke. I took the bike to my local Wal-Mart and they were super nice about replacing the chain- since then I've had no problems and the bike rides like a charm. It's a very lightweight bike, smooth riding, shifting is smooth as well. Only has 7 gears but in my experience that's plenty for most casual riders such as me. For the price I paid (about $120 with tax) I think this bike stacks up very well against anything comparable.

This crusier bike combines an easy ride with a touch of mountain bike thrown in. With a seven speed selector right at your grip, it is a breeze to travel about my hilly Arizona neighborhood. The bike was easy to assemble. During shipping, the rear portion of the chain guard was bent slightly inword which needed to be pulled out for free chain movement in seventh gear. The double shipping carton ensured no other damage occured. I am 60 years old and the bike is light weight (Aluminum frame) which I really appreciate. But, this is a sharp looking bike a guy in any group would admire.

You get an excellent bike for the amount you spend. Seat is comfortable, so you need not buy another one. I use it daily to go and come back from work. Occasionally I use it to get some groceries from near by store. I found a little bit of wear and tear on the brake clips after 2 months and adjusting them closer to the wheel fixed it. Use the gears carefully.

I've had this bike for about a month now and it has performed flawlessly. I first started looking at it and noticed the frame is of high quality construction 6061 alluminum. Most of the components are very good. I immediately replaced the seat for a nice comfortable Bell seat for $21 and fine tuned all the adjustments to my liking. The kick stand on mine works great by simply kicking it down to a locked position, and the rearward location is much better than the traditional center mount. The fit and finish is good except the decals are very cheap and won't last very long after getting wet. I haven't had any pedal issues like some of the other reviews showed. The 7 speeds are adequate and more speeds are usually only duplicates of other ratios found using multiple front sprockets. The chain guard is just plain cool and functional. The suspension gets a little squeeky after a while, but I simply put a few drops of marvel oil on the rear suspension shock and spring and that went away. The tires and rims are excellent and the bike gives a nice smooth and quiet ride. Can't beat that for $112.

This is the best bike I ever had. I am able to ride it very fast (25 mph) and don’t have a problem stopping. Matter of fact, the brakes stop so good that the wheels will lock up and slide if their wet. Which I like because I am 205 pounds and its hard for most bikes to stop that. Very comfortable and with seven speeds I am able to sustain speeds of 25 mph. The best bike you can buy for the money.

Three quick points. 1 - The reviews are correct: the pedals will break after a week. Drop the fifteen bucks and get a decent pair somewhere that they sell pedals. These ones are a cheap plastic and they snapped on me. 2 - Make sure you know how to use basic tools! This is a semi-difficult bike to put together. My front brakes still aren't calibrated correctly even after I worked on them for a couple hours the first night. The back ones were pre-installed for me, and thus they worked great. 3 - The chain sometimes slips if I'm in a higher gear and pedaling hard. It doesn't cause any problems other than a real quick slip into a lower gear. It automatically slips right back up though. Overall, the price tag is good. The looks are GREAT! I think it's a beautiful bike, and it will serve my needs fine. I just ride around Fort Lauderdale on the weekends, about an hour worth of casual riding a week. The tires, handlebar grips, and seat are all fine. The kickstand is awesome!

Bought this bike online and had it shipped site to store. Ordered it on a Monday and it was there on Friday. Fairly easy to put together. Have had it for a few weeks now and I ride it a few times a week, just around the neighborhood. So far it has been great. I would recommend this bike to anyone looking for a bike to just ride around.

Bought this bike for our son to have at college. Price was right, but one of the pedals broke after only about a week of use. If I had to do it again, I would not buy this bike, and would spend a little more for a more quality product....and hope it doesn't get stolen on campus!

The city we moved to claims to have more bikes than cars. I'm not sure if that's true, but it is definitely easier to get around on a bicycle since parking is limited in most places. However, the roads are not very smooth and a comfortable bike is a must. This one has been great so far. It is designed like a cruiser, but has good suspension and 7 speeds instead of one. That has been extremely helpful here. Assembly was not too difficult, but make sure you read the box for the list of required tools - a couple of hex wrenches are a must. For the price, this a great bike for around town. The only negatives are cosmetic: the styling decals and badge emblem are crooked. This is a reflection of the cost and actual quality of the construction versus more expensive bikes.

I thought the price was unbelievably low, and it appeared to be a quality bicycle, but it is not. The sprocket cluster has excessive play in it, which makes a very audible clicking noise while pedaling in the higher gears. A bike repairman said the gearset cannot be tightened any further, and that it may remedy the problem if I changed gearsets. I decided to try this, instead of wasting the time of sending the entire bike back. The gearset was not that expensive, and it had much less play in it, and the noise was remedied. The shifting mechanism leaves a little to be desired too, whereas the click-stops do not position the chain on center of the gears, and they chatter, sometimes change unexpectedly. I think that it's possible to work with the cable tension through time and get the shifting perfected a little. The bike is fair for the price, but my previous bike was better, which was about 50 dollars more when I bought it about 10-15 years ago. It was an 18-speed, and the gears worked excellent.

I have had this bike for more than six years. Before this bike I had other walmart bikes and they only lasted me 1-2 years. The first thing to go on those bikes was always the gear shifting. After six years this one is still useable. It was also used a lot more then the other bikes because it was at one time being used by four people. I also used it for doing tricks and going off jumps and was harder on this bike then any other of the bikes I had. It is also cheaper. This is the cheapest bike I have owned. When I bought it it only cost about $90 and the other bikes cost around $120. This is the best bike I have ever owned and would recommend it to any one who needs a good bike.

I was happy to find such a nice bike it was a good price, had my favorite color, and so on. I wasn't pleased however that on the 2nd day i had it the left pedal broke, which leads to a very unhappy rider. I had some replacement pedals, but i couldn't get the original ones off. :-( Thankfully i had the reciet and i got the same bike for free in exchange for the broken one. The over all bike is an excellent rider and a sharp bike.
