Very satisfied with the purchase of my Pioneer 6-Disc CD Changer. These dedicated CD changers are very hard to find now so I am quite pleased. I owned a Technics brand before and I had no problems except after some years of use it started to give me error messages when trying to play a CD. After I bought the Pioneer changer and disconnected my "Technics" changer, I discovered a "CD" stuck in limbo within the Technics unit (which caused the problem), and now it operates perfectly. So now, I have two (2) disc changers. The Pioneer brand is less cumbersome to operate because of the 6 disc holder that you simply load and insert. My "Technics" brand is a 60 disc changer.

Only had this CD player for a couple weeks so I can't speak to it's reliability.
I'm impressed with how quickly and quietly it changes CDs. The changer mechanism is much faster and more quiet than the carousel player it replaced.
The sound quality is ok too, at least to my ear.
The remote isn't overly complicated and it appears that ALL functions are available on the front panel of the unit as well. I've seen some audio gear where certain functions were only available with the remote, that's not the case here. So if you happen to lose the remote you still have full control of the machine.
The unit is easy to program and the program seems to be retained even if the power is shut off (standby mode). The manual could be a bit more clear on the programming functions but it's not rocket surgery. If you play around with it you'll figure it out.
All in all I'm happy with it.

No more 5 disc spinning type's for me. I went thru 2 Sony's already. This one so far is nice...you slip your cd's in the disc holder...put it back into the player...no spinning drawer to worry about. The reviews on Amazon were terrific on this one.

Had it a week and so far very pleased. Sound is excellent, disk changing noise subsided after a few rounds. It's a bit more work inserting cds into the holder rather than just into a tray, but so far we're happy. Good , reliable brand, and good price. As many said, ask me again in six months.

This Changer works as stated. Controls and read outs are just fine and easy to read. The one thing that got my attention was the CD Magazine. I have never used one of this type and it appears to be rather fragile and it may prove to be a weak point in the design of this Changer. That is my imprssion at least. Time will tell.

My Pioneer CD changer of 20 years finally died. I wanted to stick with the Pioneer brand, but did not want to order it from somewhere I could not return if unhappy. Walmart Online fit this need, because I could return to store if needed. Overall, I am very pleased with the CD Changer. It sounds great. I love the Pioneer brand. In my opinion, it is a step above other brands. I've owned my previous Pioneer CD Changer for 20+ years, and this component should do the same. Bottom Line: An above average product for a good price. Thanks Walmart Online for carrying it.
