i got this computer just as an extra computer & to do my school work on it. & i absoutly love it minus that its doesnt have a full keyboard where there are the digit on the side, But other then its fine sometimes the keys dont work it like they shift up. but its great.

Bought this laptop for my girlfriend. She loves the color purple but I bought this computer based on its specifications. It is by far the best laptop in its category - no other laptop under $700 can compare to this one. She absolutely loves it and I'm pleased with the value I got buying this from a retail store - the same model laptop sells for $100 more on eBay. Wal-Mart rarely offers these types of values but this is one worth your money - it was worth mine. Btw, I have over 20 years of computer experience - don't mistake me for a newbie.

Love it. Surprised how light this is. The screen is wide enough and great clarity. The keyboard is also great. The only thing I don't like is the mouse pad. Not too crazy about the bumbs. It is very sensitive so I switched to a laptop mouse. Other than that, this is a great laptop and love the fact that it has Word. I use Word a lot and I didn't have to purchase the whole OfficeSuite. I do not need Access, Powerpoint, etc....So if you do not need the rest of the OfficeSuite, then this is for you.

I chose this laptop because my fav color is purple, however I have not had this laptop for a month and already it no longer turns on...I am thinking what in the heck...already! I have heard from several friends that Toshiba is a really good laptop. I wish I would have found that out prior to my purchase. So back to the store you will go...the look is beautiful though.

I have the red version, have had it for over a year. My new roommate has had hers even longer. I have been very careful with mine and it works great! I can even play WoW on it, which I honestly wasn't sure I would be able to do, but it plays it great! I have yet to find a program or application I couldn't use and even though I dropped it once it works great! My roommate is rough as you know what on hers! She has dropped it reapetedly and IT STILL WORKS! Her screen is cracked now after dropping it over and over again (but it still works lol). I have to say for the price this little laptop is a beast! The only downfall with Wow is that because it doesn't have a 10 key pad I can't do special ALT characters. But other than that... It's a great laptop! I read a bunch of reviews that the key pad is crazy... honestly it worried me but it works fine... usually the only time the mouse suddenly goes "crazy" is when I accidently run across the edge of the mouse pad with the heel of my hand while I'm typing... other than that never had an issue. It really is worth the buy... if your worried about maybe getting a buggy one get the insurance... walmart will replace it and I doubt you will get a defective one a second time. I mean my roommate has dropped hers from about 3-5 feet on concrete and it is still working just fine (just needs a new screen!) How can you ask for better?

Computer worked well for the first 3 months. I was pretty iffy on buying a HP laptop being that I've had Toshibas in the past, but I took a chance. After about 3 months the computer ran a HP BIOS update without my permission even though I had the settings to only run updates with my consent. Once it performed this update, my motherboard began to freak out and after 2 weeks it eventually crashed. Thankfully I was still under warranty and was able to ship it to HP tech to fix my motherboard free of charge. Even though my problem was handled because I was under warranty, I still think this will be the first and last HP laptop I will purchase.

I love this laptop in every way. It is the perfect purple color and definitely defines the quality of HP's performance- OPTIMUM and beautiful. I'm 17 and just started college, and this computer helps me get everything done, anywhere. GREAT battery life. Like, 3 hours or so. Fast and flawless. Basically, my grandparents are the BEST for getting me this.
