It is a bit too stiff to cast light lures, but that is what you expect for a medium-heavy action. For bigger lures no problem, it cast perfect. Fighting the fish is quite powerfull. The cork is not of the best quality and the reel holder either, but you can not ask more for $20!

Rod has higher fit and finish quality than my St. Croix. Although it does feel more like a medium than a medium heavy. Overall very happy with it. Third Shimano rod, and i have to say, will probably only buy Shimano rods from now on.
