Very fast delivery. Easy set-up and no problems. My first canon pixma (2007) was great for my moderate amount of home printing needs. This one is proving just as good, probably even better as I was able to retire my very old fax machine. The print quality can be adjusted to save ink, which further reduces operating cost.

Very easy to setup both PC and AirPrint devices. Works on XP desktop, Vista and Windows 7, IPad and 3 IPhones easily. Decent scanner to any device.

I've had this machine for a few weeks. I love how it self cleans after each copy. I'm very happy with the copies it has printed out so far. Very clear. I haven't figured out a few things yet. We don't have wireless but this did come with the usb cord so did not have any problems hooking it up. I'm very please so far. We'll see in a couple of months how it is still performing.
The value was great. We got the bundle deal, which wasn't anything earth shaking. Just got a thing of paper for free. But the machine was a wonderful price. It does nice color copies as well. I'm excited to try to copy photos next.

This product is the best it goes far beyond expectations, its a good looking piece of tech product. The only problem I had was connecting through to wi fi the instructions done state that you need to go to your router and click on the security button i had to call Canon but they answered my question right away and as soon as I checked my router for the security it downloaded all by itself didnt have too do anything technical. I love. I can print directly from my iPad and iPhone from anywhere in my home. I would highly recommend this product to anyone who is considering buying a wireless printer, plus the copying is also a bonus.

For the money what more can i ask for, its noise level isnt quite but wasnt purchasing it for the quietness of it. Its print quality is good and so far so good no blotching of ink or anything which i have sometimes experienced with some of the HP printers, i used to run a business from home in the UK so having this with all the office requirements in a neat compact printer which doesnt take up that much space and looks very stylish too when not in use. I like its compactability as this makes this item easy to keep clean and not much margin for dust..a big plus for any printer as they usually attract dust.
Would recomend it !!!!

Great printer for my home use, I order ink from eBay sellers and have found it to be much cheaper than ink purchased from retailer. I just got this printer so I have not ordered ink for it yet. Easy install wired for desktop and wirelessly for laptop. I like this one much better than the HP I had. Hopefully I will have no problems with it

By reading other reviews on this printer on-line before I purchased it, I knew what to expect. Yes, the LED screen can be difficult to read, but once you learn how to use it, it can do so much! Just the "Fit to Page" and other enlarge and reduce options are wonderful to have. I had no problem with the input and output trays being close together, especially after finding the extenders to each tray to hold and catch the paper. The set-up instructions were very easily to follow, with large, clearly labeled diagrams of the printer as you go. The adjustable hinge for the document cover allows easy copying of a page from a book with the option of not having wide black areas around the edges saving ink and making it look so much better. The way the printer trays fold up when not in use makes it great for transporting.
The only suggestion I could make is to have the labeling around the edge of the glass panel painted white, so it can be easily seen, especially the arrow for positioning the original. (White out fixed mine.) Because I placed a small original in the front corner instead of the back corner, I thought the enlarging feature did not work! A call to tech support easily solved that problem and more - so willing to help.

Canon printers are very hi-quality. The ink [canon] brand is a good value [better than most] and lasts a pretty long time. No matter what you are printing, coping or scanning the quality is bar-none for the price. I made the mistake the first time listening to the idiot clerk at the office store that "All ink is the same." after 6 mos the printer head gave out [clogged etc.] Luckily the Canon service center honored the warranty and replaced it at no charge. The printer heads are usually more expensive than the printer. My son still uses that original printer!
Wally-Mart Had the best price on this one and is was easy to set up with the exception of the Wi-Fi device ability to print which is a bit involved and have not had a chance to spend the time on yet. Once done my smart phones and tablets, laptops will be able to print.

I am still unable to print / bought this printer to go with a brand new computer that has windows 8 / purchased the printer several weeks ago and I still can not get the computer to recognize the printer/disc comes with printer for installing but no 800 # for troubleshooting :(

This was my first wireless set up, and it was fairly easy. It functions well. I haven't tried the fax yet. They aren't giving the ink away, so I am anxious to see how long it lasts. It is a beautiful professional looking machine. I hope it will be a long marriage.

I didn't find it too difficult to set up; good quality prints; the product manual is a bit confusing but I'm not exactly a computer genius either; I'm still working on understanding some of the applications. I am extremely satisfied after using it for about 10 days. When I bought it, I had to immediately start scanning to email & fax, so I know it works great.

I have had it for a few weeks now. So far it works great and the quality of print is really good. It prints fast, too. It has a lot of options that are easy to use. I love the MP Navigator software, it makes savings docs as a pdf extremely easy. Wireless setup was fairly simple, I connected it to the computer and it worked on the second try.
The only gripe I have is the paper input and output on the front. It's awkward because the output tray on the front isn't long enough to hold a letter size paper. There's a pull-out "catch" on the bottom paper input tray to catch the paper output, but I find that it gets in the way since it sticks out so far. I would have loved this printer if it had an integrated paper drawer on the bottom instead of the flip out paper tray.
For the price it's a great printer and I would recommend it.

I've only had my Canon PIXMA MX 439 wireless about 3 weeks, but so far it seems like a very nice product. I had a little trouble scanning from the unit's control panel to the PC with the auto document feeder but after a little quality time with the instructions and the control panel, I was able to figure it out. In response to the "don't buy" review on 07.28.12, the printer won't shoot the paper out onto the floor if the user pulls out the extension piece on the paper input access door and lifts up the little flap that serves as a stop. I agree this is not an obvious solution to the problem, but it seems to work. The output paper sags down kinda unsightly looking and rests on the stop. I was a little annoyed at first when paper started to fall on the floor until I discovered this solution. I haven't put the item through the ropes yet but I have printed and scanned with it and I can say it's a lot quieter and seems more efficient that the HP 6500 Officejet Wireless three-in-one printer I bought several years ago at twice the price. The HP suffered an internal mechanical failure not long after purchase after the replacement/repair warranty ran out. I found the problem (broken gear) but couldn't get a kit or replacement part to fix it. I can still scan with it but cannot print or copy anything. The PIXMA sounds smoother and hopefully it won't suffer a mechanical failure like the HP. It also closes up nice and neat.
