Rubbermaid Rubbermaid 2-Tier Step Stool
The Rubbermaid 2-Step Stool is a necessary and useful item to have around the house for those hard to reach items. The Rubbermaid stool stands upright on its own making it a breeze to set up. When you are done, the stool simply folds up and its slim width conveniently fits in many small spaces. The 2-step stool is lightweight, takes up minimal space and is very sturdy. The Rubbermaid step stool has four skid-resistant footpads, making it safe for the user and gentle on a variety of floors. We were looking for a sturdy step stool to access the tall 42 inches cabinets in the newly renovated kitchen. Consider that I am 4' 11" :) We shopped around and this is the most functional & good quality stool available in this price range. Walmart offers the best deal and most reasonable shipping costs. We are very happy with our purchase.

Just the right size for reaching high cabinets. I bought it so I could reach the overhead ceiling on my front porch to clean and remove cobwebs. Also serves as a seat and folds easily & neatly when not in use. All-in-all it is just a handy little trick to have around.

I am 265 lbs and this thing does not seem like it will hold up long with this type of load.
It shifts or "settles" every time I get on it.
Feels like I am going to fall and I verify that the stools step is fully engaged after unfolding it.
Might work out for someone with a lighter load ;-)

I am too short to reach the upper cabinets and this step stool is sturdy and easy to set up and break back down for storage. It isn't very tall so I use it up against my lower cabinets for stability but I'm sure a younger person could stand on the top rung without needing to touch the lower cabinet to get down. I like that it is light weight and easily carried from room to room. Great purchase for the money spent. I bought the gray and wish it came in more 'colors' but that is minor.

I love this Step Stool. I have been looking for a long time at different step stools (some with handles) but I am very happy with my purchase. It also gives you a very "sturdy" feel when you are on it, even on the top (the top step is wider than the bottom). I am happy with the storage of it also, it is more compact than I thought it would be; and it will stand on it's own, even when closed up. When you open it up to use, you also know that it is "locked" because you can hear and feel it lock into position.

This ladder is very light to move about. It stands by itself and doesn't take up much space. It is easy to open and close the ladder. The ladder is very stable, and the steps have grippers built in. The ladder is an attractive gray color. I use it all the time in the kitchen to reach the top shelves of my cupboards. It replaces a metal step ladder that was heavy to lift. I highly recommend this ladder.

I bought this stool about 2 weeks ago. It fit my price range and it folds up and stores easily under an extension of my kitchen counter. My only complaint would be that it is cumbersome to close but that may just be because it's new to me. Overall, a very good item to have if you are short and need to reach those top shelves in your kitchen easily.
