I bought this to mount in my convertion van, it's like going to the old-time drive-in!! Picture is GREAT. Depending on where I am, I get up to 15 channels on just a set of "rabbit ears" tucked in behind it. Just wish it had a headphone jack, my old tv had one and I ran an aux cable to my stereo so the sound came through the van speakers.
Set-up was very easy, anyone can do it. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a great value.

Second TV for small usage

I went for this TV knowing the brand that I now have in a 42-in in the house. Walmart price was below that I had seen elsewhere. Knowing the brand, I was happy with the picture size and quality. The DVD player will not get much use. If this TV is as good as my other Toshiba, it will be a long time for a second TV for me.

We use this TV as a carry around to use in our exercise room or around the pool to watch teaching videos for water exercising or other exercising videos. The thin, light weight set is great for this use! We also carry it to friends who do not have a DVD player. These are the intended uses and it performs them exactly as we expected. I have always held the "Toshiba" name in high regard and here it was also very good. I have always had good luck with purchasing "Refurbished" merchandise as it has usually been checked over by factory inspectors to assure it meets their specs and will meet my expectations. Try it! You'll like it!
