Looks nice, nothing real special. I bought one close to it about 5 months ago that was a pretty red. Ten to fifteen dollars more a Mr. Coffee too. It broke don't have receipt!! Out the 40.00 for it!! This one is a replacement. Didn't want to throw away good money again so bought the cheaper one. The top flap broke the second day!! Now it just flops down when we open. Oh for the day that I paid 45.00 for a Mr Coffee that lasted 10 years!! Hope this goes for a least the year warranty!!

I purchased a Mr. Coffee from Walmart 6 months ago and it is the worst purchase I have ever made. This is my second one, I guess I never learn. It spills and runs down the carafe all over the counter while your trying to pour the water into the pot. No matter how careful you are it spills all over every where. When it is full try pouring yourself a cup of coffee without it running down the carafe and all down the front of my white counters every time. I am going to throw it away, and I will never ever buy another Mr. Coffee product again.

Worst coffee maker ever

I have had mine 2 weeks; I went to make my morning coffee thinking maybe I forgot to put the water in it, not the problem the coffee maker doesn't not brew. I had it set to brew for 6 am and nothing. It hasn't been moved or bumped...nothing. It worked fine yesterday

Not what I expected

I thought this coffee maker had everything I wanted for a good price, but I was disappointed. The paper filter fell inward a few times in the 5 weeks that we used it everyday, causing coffee grounds to go under the filter and clog the "sneak a cup" feature, resulting in coffee pouring out on to the warming plate, making a mess. It even states in the directions to wet the sides of the filter to prevent this from happening, which I did and it still did it. And if I made the coffee the night before, the filter would be dry by the time it started to brew the coffee, possibly causing the filter to fall inward anyway. The clock wasn't lighted. The housing having the black background made it difficult to see how much coffee was left in the carafe. I thought I would like it to be black since the one I was replacing was a white Black and Decker and showed coffee spills easily, but I would rather be able to see how much coffee is left in the pot. I also didn't like the beeping 5 times when it finished brewing. I did like the program ability of this maker, and the brewing choices. I returned it to the store and purchased a Cuisinart one at Costco, but didn't like that you had to push up with your thumb to remove the lid of the carafe, it was too difficult, and a lot more expensive. So, I purchased a white Black and Decker at Walmart and have only used it a week. So far, I am really liking it. I will leave a review for it after more usage.

We purchased the Mr Coffee 12 cup several weeks ago. Its been working perfectly, no problems. We had another Mr Coffee that we replaced after @10 years. I think the best compliment for a product is that it simply does what it is suppose to do. This coffee maker (thus far).. makes good coffee, its makes it in good time and no mess. I would buy it again.

I like the coffee maker. It isn't fancy, but simple to use. This one replaced the same model that quit working. I like that they updated the glass carafe so that it doesn't drip when you pour coffee. The water resevoir is well marked, it fits under the cupboards when not in use. We gave this model as a gift to our mother, and she liked it a lot.

...but after 5 months, that's all it did! One morning hubby and I awoke to find it simply would not brew...it was completely dead. Tried switching outlets, turning it off and back on again, starting again with an empty machine...nothing worked. It acted as if the pump had completely given out on it. It's now sitting in the garage, awaiting our town's spring clean-up removal. This unit looks great, and has wonderful features, but that doesn't mean a thing if it doesn't brew coffee.
Going with a porcelain cone filter this time, as sometimes the old fashioned way truly is the best.

Had it only a few days..and made at least 10 pots since. EVERY single pot gives you grinds in your cup!!!! I am returning it today...hold the grinds! A $15 maker from the dollar store would be better than this model. Don't waste your time.
