The Oster Designed For Life 6-Slice Digital Toaster Oven features 10 digital cooking functions and the optional power of turbo convection heat. It also comes equipped with a 60-minute timer with auto-off and bell signal that frees you up to do other tasks without the worry of overcooking foods. Very nice product, however beware!! The cord is on the right side if you're facing the toaster, and is EXTREMELY SHORT!! Called Electricians, no one will replace the cord for us. Running it on a 15 amp extension per one of the Electricians.

I am very happy with this purchase. I had another convection toaster oven, and it's had served me well, but I figured it was time to upgrade to a newer model. I really like the appearance of this convection toaster oven. When I took it out of the box, I couldn't believe how light it was. The digital read out is a nice feature. The price was great, and I had received it with in a week of my purchase. I can't say anything bad about it. I did a pizza in the oven and it turned out better than if I had done it in my regular size oven. Thank you for making this a great produce. :)

I had my eye on a Breville toaster oven before I came across this similar looking Oster version for less than half the price. This product did not disappoint!
The oven is very spacious and feels sturdy and durable, with the only remotely "cheap" feeling hardware being the plastic dial knobs. The backlit display is very bright and the settings are extremely simple to use. It has a lot of customized settings like "Bagels" and "Pizza". The beeping sounds on the unit are quite loud.
I was most impressed by the oven's evenness of cooking. If you put in a pizza and follow the instructions on the box for time and temperature, it comes out perfectly cooked almost every time. You might find yourself using your main kitchen oven much less once you get this! We are very pleased and impressed!
One suggestion: Try putting a flattened layer of aluminum foil over the crumb catcher at the bottom. Then, every month or so, you can replace it and avoid having to clean up the mess.

Purchased this 1.5 months ago. The first unit did not power up properly and was returned. I should have learned from that.
Second unit worked great for 1.5 months. It now will not power up (no display). DO NOT BUY THIS SYSTEM. Will attempt to fix this weekend if not possible will trash and find a more reliable unit. Have had good luck with Black and Decker in the past.

I would highly recommend this toaster oven. It has excellent built in features and is easy to use. The only negative aspect is the buzzer that goes off to let you know the food is ready is extremely loud and would wake up some of the family if they were sleeping. It toasts fine; however, a bagel at medium darkness takes 6 minutes. If you are in a rush for toasting, you may want to use a toaster rather than the toaster oven.

Loved the settings, it heated up quick, and did all of its functions the way it should. However, my 2nd one just died within 5 months! I'm pretty sure your not supposed to buy 5 toaster ovens a year- $400.00 a year in toaster ovens is a bit much!

I just bought this oven and can't wait to do more with it!! Gets hot quickly, cooks evenly, doesn't get hot to the touch on the outside (not too much at least) and is so attractive! Yes, a 9X13" pan fits inside but it just can't have handles on the sides. The convection feature is wonderful! Biscuits, pizza dough, and baked meats cook nicely and evenly. Roasted potatoes come out nice and browned. Fits nicely on my counter top and takes up very little room. Thank you so much for a wonderful little oven!!

There is no preheat function. This feature is important to me. If you set the oven for 10 minutes at 350, the timer starts counting down. Recipes state the temperature and time for cooking. I couldn't figure out how to bake. My past toaster ovens have always had this feature. When the temperature is correct, you start baking. Sorry didn't try the rest of the oven's features. I returned it.

I have only had this item for about a week, so I can't comment yet and be fair because I've only tried to use it twice. I can mention, however. that I feel the booklet with it \ wasn't very explicit and I felt left a lot to be desired. .....my son who has had a similar toaster oven for quite a while came and in a few short comments told me how to use it, so I could bake and make toast.......... I guess I do better with the visual teaching than reading instructions (I knew absolutely nothing about a toaster oven previous to this time.) I still don't know how to use the baking times in correlation to a regular gas oven...whether times or heat need to be adjusted or if they are about the same for both ovens.

This tostser oven has pleased me so far. And it finally does what I have always wanted a toaster oven to do. When I have it on the bake function, only the bottom heating elements are turned on. None of my other toaster ovens could be operated in this bottom only mode, so I always had to cover the food with foil.

Very happy with this oven. Problems can be avoided by reading the instruction book. Toast and bagel come out perfect if placed on the TOP position rack - you may have to experiment with the darkness setting, but once you've chosen it, the oven remembers the setting from then on. The knobs are used to adjust time and temp. Those digital readings are easily seen in the lit window - I am a senior citizen, and the bright blue display is easy to read. There's a red light for on/off (oven turns off automatically) and a blue light to indicate the convenction oven is on. Unit is very light weight, yet seems well built. Very large glass window to observe items cooking, and a loud beep indicating cooking time is complete. We think we got a very good value for the money.

I purhased this unit after my Infrawave died after only 2 yrs. The only things that I could be happier with is that it throws off more heat than the other one, the timer doesn't stay on more than 1 hr for larger items, and it doesn't have the rotisserie feature. It's very effiecient and quiet. It meets the description displayed and the price was right.

I was skeptical. I have never before owned a toaster oven, but my large oven doesn't work and I am cooking for just two. This product is (so far) superior! In two weeks, I have cooked everything so far except sweets (cookies, bread, cake) and it works perfectly. I have used both the conventional and convection settings. I am still adjusting to the convection oven, but it isn't that difficult. Before I purchased I did my homework and I purchased the $7.00 insurance plan. The price was right, it is sturdy and attractive.

I just bought this and while testing it to be sure it knows the difference between bake and broil (most toaster ovens keep both top and bottom heating elements on) I noticed the door did not shut on the right side. The hinge/guide for the door is on the left side and the right side left a 1/8th inch gap which is not good on a toaster oven. So, back it goes!
I am going to assume I got a bad one and exchange it. If the replacement is better I will adjust this review accordingly.
