Defective product but resolved satisfactorily

I ordered the TV online so I could have the convenience of shipment to my garage. The TV was defective with 2 prominent vertical lines in the display. I printed my e-mail and brought the TV to my local store's customer service. They weren't initially sure how to make an exchange but after some time and tracking down of managers, I was able to return home with a replacement TV which so far shows no issues. The in-store purchase netted me $30.

I bought this tv for my family room and it's a perfect size. I originally planned to hang it on the wall, but it works well on the stand which is included. The picture and sound are better than I expected. It was delivered even sooner than expected. Very easy to set up. I highly recommend this product! A great buy! Why are you still reading? Go place your order before they realize how good it is & raise the price.

Is a really great investment. I'm glad I now own a flat screen tv from Samsung. I don't think it really matter about what brand you get. Picture quality is excellent. It meets my expectations. And yeah, it works greatly.

I got this at xmas, just recently got hooked up with HD, Wow, the picture is amazing, me and the wife are shocked at how clear it is.
Setup was very easy , make sure you get an hdmi cable to get the best picture.
Another nice feature is the usb port to view sd cards or ipod hookups , although, if you wall mount this tv, that may be a problem with clearence .
I have always loved the Samsung brand and have had no problems with previous buys.
I would buy another of this tv in a minute

I bought the tv and was so excited. When I went to hook it up, it didn't have enough HDMI or AV slots to do everything like WII and DVD which was very disappointing. Within a couple of weeks, I had no picture. I had to wait almost a week on the parts. Now just two weeks later, I have NO picture again. It is horrible. I've spent hours of my life on the phone or online with Samsung going through all their crazy troubleshooting steps. What a disappointment! Plus the online work order is crazy. It takes 5 minutes to type one word because the Samsung website isn't responding. Who knows when I'll have a working television and for how long. Think long and hard before deciding on this one. Is the money worth the inconvenience? I think I'm taking this lemon back. :-/

Bought this for my family room, and I'm very pleased with it. Beautiful picture with good contrast and vibrant colors. Picture was good right out of the box, and I changed it to "dynamic", and the colors really popped. Sound is average for this type of TV. I have mine hooked into a Sony Home Theater HD receiver, so this is no problem. It also doesn't have the HDMI hookups that a more expensive set has, but this is no problem also, as everything hooks into the home theater receiver and one HDMI cable goes to the TV. Excellent basic TV for a person who doesn't need all the bells and whistles of a more expensive TV. I got it for a bargain price of $479. Excellent value for the money.

This is a 51" plasma TV, beautiful crystal clear picture! The sound is great, easy to hear on 8-10, this TV goes really loud, there is no need for a sound bar! Energy efficient, a great buy all around! We loved this TV so much that we bought a second one for my parents. I also purchased the 3 year warranty through Walmart for $44.00

The best TV ever made in my opinion.If you are looking for a great picture and sound you can't go wrong with this TV.Some people may be concerned about flash burn in but this TV has automatic controls to prevent this from happening.Burn is if a logo stays in the same spot for a long time like TV station logos.No worries with this TV ,easy to set up and operate.It may be overwhelming at first but just go step by step and you will be there.Best picture is with HDMI cable that goes to TV and your cable or satellite box.Only one cord hookup. This Samsung is top of the line for the money.You get the HDMI cord from your HD provider or buy one.If you have never had HD TV it will blow you away at details you see.

I am very pleased with my Sansung 51" HDTV. Vivid picture, surround sound. You feel you can actually touch the people on the screen. The only problem I had was finding the button on the TV to set it to HDMI. After pushing the different buttons on TV, I was up and running. Need instructions to make it clear where buttons are located.

Bought this tv for a Chrismas gift what a great tv....We do not have any young children so the tv will not be used to play any video games on. The picture is great and the size is a good size for our living room. The picture is sharp and crisp. This was a steal for the price. I would recommend this to anyone. Samsung is an excellent brand and we are pleased with our purchase.

I looked for TV about one month and ended up buying this TV. First I bought a 42" 3D, Smart TV and returned because I thought 3D movie is fun to watch in theater only other wise you at least buy 60+ inch TV for real 3D fun. So I took off 3D option from my list. Then smart TV was the second option then i thought i could make any HDTV to smart when i connect my computer with TV so I took off smart option as well because i have a smart box that i bought for 70 dollars and now it is cheaper than 70. Finally i bought this TV and saved lot of money for not buying 3D, Smart TV. This TV has an excellent picture quality and clear voice. Make sure you select "dynamic" option to get full clear & crisp picture.
