I've had the tv for about a month now and everything works great. The only thing I would say about the tv is the sound could be louder. I do have my surround sound hooked up to it so when I watch my wrestling, football, or movies, is sounds excellent. The features are great because I wanted just a regular tv with no wi fi or 3d capability. If you don't care to have these feature then this is a great tv. There is no bleeding from the LED, no distorted pictures, no fuzzyness, and set up was easy. When watching certain movies like toy story, the picture is amazing. I have already recommended this tv to my brother. This is my second samsung tv and I would definitely buy another samsung in the future.

This is my third Samsung, first was a 32" LCD (still works great after 7 yrs.), and second is a 21" LCD that's going well after 4 years. Got this TV on sale and I'm very impressed. Refresh rate is great watching the games. Sound quality is good, but I have a Samsung SS connected anyway. Clarity of screen is excellent and has minimal reflection compared with most other LED's I've seen. For the value I'd select Samsung over all other brands as it's a VERY proven brand. Sony is over-rated/priced, and LG is good but not at Samsungs' level. Avoid Sharp as their track record for problems is well documented.

Got this set for my 95 yr old mother who was having a hard time seeing the 42" set she had. Fairly easy to setup,though picture setup harder than it should be. The picture is really fantastic, sound is fine. The thing I really liked was the high contrast and clarity that adds to the picture. Can really see quality on DVD's. Hopefully it holds up over time. I have a 46" Samsung which I like, and that is the reason I got her the Samsung. Walmart's price was good and the delivery was excellent and very fast in time for Christmas.

This item was received with an obvious puncture to the outside box which penetrated the screen rendering the HDTV unserviceable. It did not appear as an intransit damage but a sabatoge of some sort. I subsequently purchased from Best Buy.

at first site compared to all other hdtvs this samsung looks spectacular in store. well thanks to demo mode it can do this. once home and setup you will never be able to get it to look as good. the remote is backlit and will turn on from any minor vibration which kills the batteries every month. the colors are bright and colorful but the blacks are really dark gray. you will lose picture detail over colorful picture. the frame rate is not as fast or as smooth as they will like you to beleive, it blurs more than a 60hz. if you truly want an L E D TV , then go with sony, sharp ,sanyo or panasonic as they provide true color detail and smooth frame rates with out loss of picture detail. also make sure you pick up a disney dvd or blu ray to use the THX optimizer on it which will let the picture clarity and details come out even more. you will truly be amazed! P.S. My HDTV from samsung just died after 11 1/2 months and samsung will not honor warranty because they claim regular wear and tear. really my old tvs lasted well over 12 trs but new hdtv is 1-3 years from samsung. great job at providing poor customer service and high priced low end hdtv. avoid headaches and broken sports or family hearts.
