It's an entirely different type of battery. No pop in the battery and you are ready to go. 1st you have to charge the battery and then you have to hook up to a computer to download all kinds of stuff. I'm 64 years old. I didn't want complicated. I wanted the features (i.e. I have tremors and shake when I take pictures). I wanted the Nikon but the price on that was so low I couldn't get the online order to go through; so, I opted for the higher price, complicated Canon and got it in no time.

I love cannon cameras. The quality of picture is so good. When taking the picture is shows up really clear n with original color. This camara is good I recommend if want a small camera with zoom. It's awesome.

I was very pleased as my daughter specifically wanted a pink Canon Powershot. I found it on your web site very easily. Checking out was a snap and I received the product in just a couple of days. It is a christmas gift so I cannot rate the product yet.

I am someone who gets a new camera AT LEAST once a year. I don't believe in buying a warranty because you can get a new camera relatively cheap these days. I use my camera for everyday life events: family photos, parties, sporting events. I've used Sony, Nikon, Kodak and another Cannon prodcuct and buy far this is my favorite camera I've ever owned. People are constantly commenting on the picture and color quality. The only problem I have with it is the delay. I press the button to take a picture and it takes a few seconds before it actually snaps the picture. I read this in the other reviews on here before I purchased the camera and I decided it wasn't that big of a deal. I still stand by that opinion, but if I had to pick one thing for them to fix about the camera, that would be it! Otherwise, it's an excellent camera for an amazing price.

Really enjoying our new camera! Takes the best pictures of any camera we've ever had! Love the color! The color states that it's pink, but it is more of a bronze or salmon color, which is exactly as it's pictured, and exactly what I wanted. Also purchased the red case to go with this, and I'm completely satisfied with both purchases!

The quality of the photos is phenomenal! Every time I take a picture, I say, "I love... this camera...!" It's easy to use, sleek look. The HD feature is definitely a plus!
The only things that I would say are "cons" for me are:
1) It automatically chooses the photo mode that you need, where as I would prefer the option to manually do it.
2) The capturing isn't as fast as I'd like it to be... takes from 3-5 seconds and that can make the difference sometimes.
