I bought this tv initially because I trust the LG name. The sound quality is amazing and I love the fact that you have button access on the front of the tv instead of just on the remote or a place you can't reach. The picture quality is good but tends to be a little dark or too bright, can't seem to find the sweet spot - but that's all based on individual taste.

I ordered online because I'm disabled and hoped to avoid inconveniencing someone to take me to the store in addition the price of gas ---- but it doesn't work andxi now have to deal with what I wanted to avoid. Curious -- comes with an instruction cd, if it doesn't wok ---what good is he cd? Stupid!

I HAVE ONLY HAD THIS TV A FEW DAYS, BUT SO FAR VERY GOOD. I PURCHASED IT FOR MY BEDROOM WHEN MY OLD TUBE TV BLEW UP. THE HARD THING IS MY OLD TV FILLED UP THE SPACE IN MY ENTERTAINMENT CENTER & THIS ONE IS SO SLIM IT FEELS AS IF SOMETHING IS MISSING.
I AM ENJOYING IT TO DATE.

very unhappy with this TV and returned it. Instead of our usual 8 channels only got 2 on the auto scan and after TV had been on for 10-15 minutes piture was so dark you could barely see it!!!

We had searched for quite awhile for a decent bedroom tv with a decent name- and this is exactly what I wanted. The tv came with no damage site-to-store, and actually a day early. Got it home set it up in less than 5 minutes and off she goes. Picture looks great, sound is incredible, I couldn't ask for more. There are a few features for someone who would want to use them, i don't personally but they are there. I also have bought a Panasonic 42" plasma from walmart- same deal, excellent. Just do your research but if you want a great quality and nice looking tv for your bedroom that is not going to be too large- this is it, highly recommend. One thing i do want to add about this model is there is no optical audio out, so like someone else had mentioned, you could not plug it up directly to the tv but there should be ways of getting around that- besides the speakers are pretty awesome anyway especially for a smaller room.

This LG 26" TV is a perfect fit for our bedroom. Set-up was a snap right out of the box. Two Phillips head screws is all it takes to put the stand together. The picture is crystal clear and magnificently adjusts to ambient lighting. The menu (if needed) is easy to understand & "touch sensitive" controls are on the front on the unit. The sound lacks a bit, but what would one expect out of a 26" TV? Overall, I think this is a great value for the money. I love the ease of all aspects of LG. When the time comes to retire my Sony, LG will be my TV of choice.

I owned a Vizio and it developed a line within 6 months then eventually just wouldn't come on. Husband lost the receipt. So, if you buy a cheap Vizio hold onto your receipt you will need it. I bought the 32" LG LCD from this site to replace it. I love it so much! People are very impressed with the picture and after 2 years its still perfect. So, I needed a bedroom TV. I noticed the 26" LED was only $10 less than the 32" but I just wanted a smaller TV. I also thought I would try the LED and boy am I happy! I noticed the difference in the picture right away. It's just brighter and the colors pop. I also love that it dims at night with the lights off. Not too dark like others say. Also, the sound is great as well. I was a little worried about the slim style affecting the sound. Looks like they have a piece of clear plastic along the bottom(does not affect appearance)to help the sound. I have 2 wonderful LG TV's I would buy both again and I highly recommend you stop looking and invest in LG. I simply would not trust any other brand. Why mess with perfection?

I needed a tv for our kitchen- lots of overhead lights. We tried three before this. This tv is viewable from all angles with a crisp clear picture. Sound is just fine, although at times have to turn the volume way up due to cable discrepancies between channels. Totally pleased with this set.
