I bought this camera & used it for the 1st time on our Disneyland trip. It takes nice pictures & I haven't had any trouble with the flash, you just pop it up when you want to use it. I am still trying to figure out how to use all the features but easy to take basic pictures.

have only had this camera for two weeks and have been getting use to the different settings. the zoom and settings give me more choices than the previous camera i had. the pictures that did not come out good were my fault. also bought a tripod but the image stablizer works well enough that i may not need it except where i need a longer shutter exposure. at 149.00 i think this is a great buy

I love this camera. It is easy to use and the pictures turn out great. My only problem is that it doesn't shoot in Sepia but I am ok with that. I would recommend this camera to anyone.

Great Camera for Anyone

I actually gave up my Nikon for this camera. Nikon was having issues and didn't want to spend much $$ on a new camera. This camera equals the Nikon in over all performance easily. About the only big difference is that this camera does not have through the lens viewfinder with all the prisms and mirrors. But rather it uses two digital video screens as viewfinders which actually work better. The old through the lens is a pretty obsolete method of framing up your shot. Beyond that, this camera equals pretty much the flexibility of my former Nikon. The color is perfect as is the focus and exposure. And yet you have full manual over ride if you choose to shoot that way. The wide angle lens and zoom are more than adequate for any shot. It uses triple A batteries. I bought the rechargeable kind and have been very happy with those. They last a long time. Overall I think you would be pretty pleased with your purchase of this camera. And it doesn't break the bank compared to many other brands.

Good camera in some circumstances

I have used SLR cameras in my high school years and I had hoped to capture that experience again. Granted, this is a good camera in many circumstances, but fair to poor in some circumstances. I love it in outdoor photography, were it shines. Love the macro lens setting. But indoor, especially with fluorescent lighting you will get a strange mix of great to awful photos. At my daughter's graduation in a well lit gym I was frankly disgusted with the results. I think DSLR is the only way to go and I'll look at passing this camera to my youngest daughter and upgrade for myself. Expect some slow response when you need immediate photos with or without flash.

I have owned a Fujifilm S7000 for around 10 yrs that has started to have CMOS issues but takes great sharp pix. I wanted to try another Fuji camera this model has taken some good shots in the short time I have had it.
The zoom feels rough compared to my old S7000 and the focus so far has been good. For the price this camera has been good.

My daughter bought this camera a while back and has taken amazing pictures with it! We took it to NYC on vacation last year and were absolutely amazed at the quality of the pix! I can't rate the flash b/c I haven't needed to use it, but I can tell you that outdoor pix taken with this camera are nothing short of incredible! The low cost of this camera makes the quality of the pictures quite surprising.

i bought and tested this camera for two weeks and am returning it because I hate it! Over half the photos ended up bad. Gonna try and find another camera that works better.... Don't buy this!

My Girlfriend bought me this camera and I love it. It is so easy to use and takes amazing clear pictures. I use it everyday and have never had a problem with it. I think this price is a steel. If you are even considering buying this camera please do so, you wont be disappointed.

This is the first camera I have ever liked. The batteries lasted a very long time. I have been using it for about 8 months. It is very user friendly. You can see in the viewfinder even in bright sunny days. The flash is easy to use just press a button. You can delete all pictures at one time. I have beautiful pictures and share with my e mail friends. My Husband needs a new camera and wants to get one just like mine. I think the price was fair compared to other cameras I have looked at. Definitely would recommend this to a friend. I just love it. I can't think of anything wrong with it. I am not an expert but love to take photo's.

I Purchased this camera on walmart.com, quick and easy; site to store offered free shipping, a plus. The camera arrived at the store earlier than the expected date; I picked it up at the back of the store where on-line pick-up is located, and home to start shooting fabulous photos. This is a great value for the options; 24x zoom, 3" LCD screen, and image stabilizer alone is fantastic as it keeps the photo from blurring if I move my hand a bit. I love this camera, so far it's still only a couple of months old and my knowledge is at novice level, but I'd recommend this camera. As an Art student, I take photos of all my artwork and floral designs for building my portfolio.

Recently I went to a reunion and lost my Sony camera. I wanted to replace it for photos at the reunion so I went to Walmart (The only store in town!) and bought this camera. At first I thought it was a great deal (I paid $229.00), but, only after two months the camera went "haywire" and started bleeding the batteries dead in 15 minutes! The photos were good, the operation was good, but unless you want go buy a new camera sooner, rather than later, save your money and buy a good camera that uses rechargeable batteries. (Using AA batteries is so wasteful) I had to buy another one, so I went to Best Buy and bought a Canon. LOVE it!

everything is good to go so far no problems picture looks great went to car show and park took over 500 pics they all looked great took sd card to walmart had prints made looked great so far no strain no pain i like it ordered it online it came back pretty fast so site to store was fast so like i said so far so good no complaints so get ya one i like mine pretty good i ordered rechargeable battries so iam ready to go going now c ya

When I bought this camera I though was good but it wasn't , it is too slow taking picture and it is slow for everything. The price is great for someone doesn't has a digital camera . However , I finished returned the camera and buying the Canon for $249.99. The Canon is more expensive but it is an excellent camera.

I bought this t the local Wal-Mart on clearance and only paid $83.00 for it. I am totally blown away by the quality of the pix and the ease of use. It has a lot of features found on more expensive cameras. I have only owned it for a couple of days but experimented heavily with the various settings. The pictures I took with it zoomed in were super. They were so sharp I could read the street sign a block and a half away. Pictures taken in all light levels were great.
I'm not sure why there are so many bad reviews on this camera. A lot of what I am reading indicates lack of understanding on the users' parts. This camera is much more than the average point and shoot camera. It takes a little practice to get the hang of using it properly and realizing the full potential but it is well worth it.

Decent pictures

This camera works well in the perfect conditions. Low light photos are really poor, no matter what setting I use. The shutter delay is pretty long also. I was expecting an instant shutter but it takes about a second to take the picture, my phone is faster. There are some nice features like the panoramic setting and the 20 simultaneous photos, the kids had fun with those. We have had this camera about a year and the shutter button is not working as it should, you need to press really hard to take a picture now. I wish I would have spent the extra money and bought the Nikon.

I just got this camera on clearance, the picture is very good compare to others. I don't expect to much like dslr the more expensive. I like to get a much better camera with lenses but can't afford it yet but so for I'm happy for the money.....I hope this camera last, thanks
