Bought my camera on the way to Mount Rushmore, and the Badlands in South Dakota. My pictures are beautiful. Many I took driving down the road. All were clear and sharp. The color was beautiful.

I needed a little point and shoot after my Canon died. One of my biggest concerns was a rechargable battery. Many take AA. And I've had enough experience with throwing away batteries. This one, or course, comes with the rechargable Li-ion. Took some videos, which tends to drain it pretty quickly (normal). Otherwise, battery lasted as I would have expected
The camera takes a nice picture in a variety of situations. The videos are decent quality too.
Overall, I'm happy with this Sony. Nice that it takes SD memory too, instead of the proprietary Sony memory stick.

Hubby bought me this camera yesterday, so far I have taken about 30 pictures of our daughters and I absolutely love this camera! The pictures come out so clear and sharp! I've recorded one video and its amazing as well! I went from a 5mp Kodak to my HTC Evo 8mp camera to this one! It takes the shots fast which is a MUST when you have toddlers that move a lot and you're trying to capture a lot of sweet funny moments. We will be going to Audubon Zoo and the Aquarium a lot this year and I will be using this camera so much! 99$ for this camera is a steal!

My only complaint is that I would like a more comprehensive users manual included in the

This camera i order on line based on reviews. I would not recommend this camera to anyone who will be taking pictures indoor. Very poor lighting everything behind your target seems yellow and unnatural and your target is ghostly white. But this camera does take beautiful outdoor pictures the colors are very vibrant.

I would mainly only recommend this when on sale, it is a nice camera and all, but it does not include a memory card. Unlike others you can get for around the same price with one, without shelling the extra cash out. The screen size is nice, tools are pretty self-explanatory, and easy to get a hold of.
It can be very sensitive to lighting though, so best for well lite areas than others. Even for only being a 16.1 MP it is good quality, could be better, but you get what you pay for.

I actually was looking for a nice simple camera for my grandparents to use and reading the specs, this one seemed to be it. Sadly mistaken, i opened it up, put the battery in, took one picture and put everything back and returned it.
1. WAY small, and too light, buttons are very small and the on/off button is difficult for even me to press
2. I was excited that it was like my camera and it has a rechargeable battery. Well yes it does, but you have to completely remove the battery to charge it in the holder. My camera you just plug the cord into the camera itself and tada done. NO you have to remove the battery and put it in the cradle to charge. DUMB, why should you ever have to take the battery out? It just makes it easier to lose it.
3. It just feels cheap while holding it. The picture quality is so - so, but the rest of the downfalls was enough to pack it right back up after about 30 seconds.

I would only recommend this camera for the panoramic feature! Takes nice outdoor pictures and the panoramic feature is really nice. Takes horrible indoor photos! I returned it within the week.

I started using the camera instantly and it is performing nicely. No problems. It is a replacement for another Sony Cy. I bought two years ago. I do hope it lasts longer. Very easy to use and the features are easy to understand. Need to get another spare batt. right away to avoid charge time. Overall, I really like this camera and don't feel like I was ripped off in the price department.

I really love this camera it has everything i want and more!! im a beginner and it's so easy i love the fact that it has auto on it or you can set up urself if u like . it takes nice pic in the dark. in the daytime is even more nicer. i really recommend this cam for all ages.

I love the optical image stabilization, so if my hands are a little shaky the camera has OIS ability to focus and keeps the picture images clear and not come out blurry.

I go through cameras like nobody's business. I was looking at a bigger, fancier camera but ultimately I need a camera that will fit in my back pocket and wasn't really expensive since I am sure I will be purchasing another one in about a year. Normally I have had wonderful luck with Kodak Easy Share Cameras but wanted to try something different so this was the one. It is small and has a wonderful auto scene select and other fun functions. I am primarily taking pictures of my children and it takes beautiful pictures. You can even choose for the camera to focus on children's faces over adults - which is pretty perfect for me. The pictures are clear and bright! It was easy to use right out of the box. I also liked that it came with a USB charger and also a wall charger. You can take the battery out and put it in the charger and stick it to the wall. The camera info also says the battery doesn't have to be empty before you charge it so I can make sure it is fully charged before we are off on one of our family adventures. I may, however buy an additional battery so I can carry a charged backup. Bought a cute little case with a D ring. Works great, better than sticking it in my pocket, fits this camera perfectly with a small pocket inside - I use it to store the USB charger and a cleaning cloth.

I purchase this camera to use on my Disney Vacation. The zoom lens was perfect for getting up close when I was not able to. Also when there was people standing in the way of a perfect shot, I use the zoom lens and they were not in the picture that I took. This camera is perfect for a person that does not know a lot about picture taking, which is me. I am a point and shoot type of person and this camera lets you do that and it will do all the rest so you have a perfect picture.

Bought this camera to replace an older cyber shot. I am satisfied with what I got. Its thinner then my older version and uses the same memory card which I liked. It also has a 3 option switch to move to picture mode to video mode to panorama mode. I liked my older camera that had a wheel with more option modes to switch to but when the camera is set to auto it does it for you instead of having to set it yourself. Overall its a great camera.

I wanted a camera that I could figure out right out of the box. I purchased two cameras before this one, but this one was favorite. I returned the other two. This camera offers exceptional value for the price. I love it and I'm glad that the third one was a charm:)
