This is the cable I needed to connect our new DVD player to our flat screen TV. I have watched 2 DVD movies so far and it has worked fine with no problems. The price was reasonable and was suitable for Blu Ray DVD's as well.

This cord is just as good as an expensive one. We hooked it to a blue ray and honestly we could not notice any difference compared to the expensive one we had, which i returned.
