Vizio's 26" Class Edge Lit Razor LED/LCD HDTV features Razor LED for brilliant color and contrast in a razor thin design. This sleek HDTV also features ambient light sensing technology for a perfectly-balanced picture that's never washed out or too bright and SRS StudioSound HD audio for advanced virtual surround sound. It also has two HDMI ports for the best connection to a Blu-ray player, laptop or game console and meets ENERGY STAR 5.3 guidelines making it friendlier to the environment and your wallet.
Note: You must have a source of HD programming in order to take full advantage of the Vizio 26" HDTV. Contact your local cable or satellite TV provider for details on how to upgrade.

Oh yeah, if you want a good flat screen with all the trimmings. You can't beat this for the price. I did have to get a wall hanger and install to truly enjoy the true quality. As I wasn't seeing it in it's fullest potential on the dresser. This is my first and by far NOT last LED Visio TV. :-) I also paid the extra for the 4 yrs. extended warranty, JUST IN CASE...... very reasonably priced....Can't comment on the service cuz Thank GOD I haven't needed to use it....Merry Christmas to all and GOD Bless you All the nights....

You're probably wondering why I gave a 26" tv a 5-star rating.
Vizio tvs in general are usually a bargain. Vizio is simply put, a wal-mart "brand" tv. I got this tv because it was bundled with a wall mount (which was awesome).
I already own 2 Vizios. A 42" and a 32". So I knew 99% what I was buying. (The other 1% was possibility of damage, which there was not!)
Vizios are simple to use, the initial setup and channel scanning is a breeze. Takes like 2 minutes to set up the whole thing.

For the price, this tv has a great picture and great sound quality. Unless you're looking for a home theatre to tick off your neighbors, and in that case, you're looking in the wrong section, friend.

The placement of this 26" TV is not optimal for me to rate it honestly, YET. It replaced a 20" regular old type and size TV, so I have not been able to position correctly as yet. It is on the wall ----almost---<grin>
but not actually placed because there is a wall "thing" that was made for the old type of TV
and I am waiting on someone that is coming over to place it correctly for me as it is over my head
etc. etc. The picture is way too dark and I think it is because it is not tilted right. So make sure
you check out the picture, ALL of the adjustments done that you need, and its position before you are sure about your purchase. There is a place for "Backlight" but it "skips" over that selection. I think I need that,
so waiting to see how it is when repositioned.............that is as honest as I know.

This is my first flat screen HD TV. I needed a smaller size to fit into an entertainment center. I have only had it for 10 days but so far am very happy with it. I had to upgrade to a HD DVR cable box to get the best picture. My only minor complaint is the colors seem to fade out if you try to view the screen from much of an angle. It seems to be a very nice TV for the price. I did pay a little extra for the wall bracket that probably won't ever be used, but got the TV for $209.

I didn't know who builds VISIO until my son told me that Sony is the maker. So, I bought one for home delivery. It was delivered fast and on time. The picture required only minor tweaking to show my DishNet channels to their fullest. I would buy another for use in another room.
