The Velocity Micro Cruz T301 -2G 7" 2GB Android 2.2 OS is a super affordable tablet with a large screen. It is a good choice for general Web and e-mail tasks. This Wi-Fi internet tablet has 2GB of internal memory and a 4GB SD card. It has a responsive touchscreen for easy navigation. Basically bought this cause it was an android but none of the android apps that I wanted were compatible. NONE OF THEM.. ended up going with a more expensive one. It was well worth returning.

I purchased this for a tween with the main intent of accessing Youtube and Netflix. Neither can be viewed with this device. If your main intent is e-reader, Facebook, email, then this was a great value.

I bought this a couple of weeks ago, and I just wanted an E-reader for this price it is an excellent purchase. A friend of mine bought a Samsung Galaxy 2 and when she saw mine and I told her how much less( 200. dollars ) I spent than she did, she was sick, because she is only using it to read. you can check e-mail, get on facebook, find all the sports highlights and scores also.

I bought 3 of these for my kids at christmas time last year! We have had nothing but issues with them from about a week after we got them! Now one of them wont even power on! The tech support and Cruz company really does nothing to help you fix the issue and or replace it considering its still under the manufacturers warrenty. At this point I am so frustrated that we wasted almost $300 dollars on these and I will not recommend anyone buying one of these even if it was for your dog!!!

This product is the best value product i have ever seen - but still it needs workarounds to be used to do some things and sometimes there are no workarounds and so some things can't be done with it. the android market (search engine brand name - shouldn't type it here but it is one of the main ones and definitely the main android app store) is inaccessible with this device and the desktop PC can't be used to get the apps either. You're only choice i think is to use someone else's or another android device you may have to download the apps and even then you can't transfer them to this product as far as i know because the app store installs the apps to the device (your other android device) instead of just downloading them to the other android device. Your only choice to get those apps is to find them somewhere on the internet and download them and then install them to this device. A a lot of apps seem UN-find-able on the net. You may have to dig around in irc chat rooms or torrent files, etc. This product is one of the best values i have ever found - i love it despite it's weaknesses! It would have been nice if it had host most on the usb though so i would be able to use an external full keyboard but then again the built in touchscreen qwerty keyboard is all i need and i actually type better on it then full sized qwerty keyboards anyway though.

Tablet is slow and touch screen is not always responsive. I added a 16GB SD card which helped significantly with the speed and downloading of apps. Only the most basic apps would download without this added memory. It DOES NOT support Adobe Flash so many games will not work on it. Forget about it if you want Angry Birds. I was considering giving these as gifts for my neice and nephews and at the price I would have recommended it as a great starter tablet for a kid but without the ability to support popular games, no kid would want it. It does support kindle and it would probably be a good tablet for someone who just wanted to browse the internet, get email, and read a book. I am thankful for Walmart's generous return policy. This is going back and I will step up to a more expensive and functional tablet.

This very good for indoors but not so outside. There is so much glare you can't read it. The size of the text should be able to increase a little more, as us "old folks" have a little difficulty reading the small print. Other wise it met all I expected. I will recommend this product.

When i got this tablet, i thought it will be like ipad just less money to spend on it. Well, its nothing like the ipad. Its great to play on for games. But the kindle doesn't work great on it. u can really down load anything.. when u got out on the internet its slow and keeps having problems... i would recommend it if u wants game tablet. But not as kindle or just to go out on the web with.

First one did not work properly-shut off switch did not work. Took it to Walmart store - gladly refunded me the cost. Second one works great and love the Kindle app- have gotten several free books. Love it and would reccomend it.

an issue with javascript makes it nearly useless w/ google
(a very poor work around is available) i beat my head against a wall for 8 hours trying to get it to do something useful ...well the calculator works, the touch screen works sometimes. it did feel solid and well built, the inner working were just a big let down

you need to updrgade from 2.0 to 2.2 from their website, not easy for non-techies, also processor on mine is not 800mhz, it's only 528mhz, so this is a major difference in advertisement specs, audio level on mine is very low, tough to hear on half the content I put on it. Otherwise all else works out fine, battery life is good, just know it's super practical, and may not be a 800mhz processor, but a lower speed.

I got tthis tablet and was mainly going to use it as an E-reader. After I upgraded to the Android 2.2 I uses it all the time. Youtube videos work as long as they aren't HD and all the other apps I have installed work great! I would buy again!!!
