Yup...it is a little small...somewhere between a dagger and a sword. Bought it reading that and it is confirmed. Fits on the bullzooka thing. Nothing wrong with it. Get the other one if you want bigger.

Obviously as a 40 something year old mom I think the toy is silly. But 8 year old saw it advertised, used his saved birthday money and thinks it is the greatest thing so the rating is based on his opinion and not mine. It has made him happy and kept his attention for more than 24 hours like most toys. I have heard him playing Samurai in his room daily since he purchased it. One of his favorite parts that came with the sword is the belt loop plastic piece that lets you store your sword on your belt.
He also has another piece that goes with this sword (some sort of black part) and there is a third companion piece that I think he has his eye on.
