How can people say that this is small? It is very big and quite heavy. My sun is into shells, rocks, stones, geodes, etc. so we got him this for his birthday. He loves it! The price is very reasonable, certainly a lot cheaper than anywhere else that I have found. I had mine shipped to the store for free, and actually made it out of Wal*Mart without spending any money (although I did see a nice grill that I am interested in...). If you are at all interested in this go ahead and buy it. You will like it and it is quite the conversation piece. I don't know about the benefits of it, but it is pretty cool looking!

This salt lamp sits on the table as solid as a rock (haha). Its brightness can be adjusted with a dimmer (nice feature). It does not get hot so the lamp can even be left on overnight. It purifies the air and the warm glow is magical.

I am not sure if I got the right size for my bed room. So I can not really say if it does what it claims. But it looks cool. And I am glad I got it. I think for the size of my room I need a bigger one. And I am sure I will as soon as I can.

I love the lamps glow and value. I put the lamps outside in direct sunlight for a couple of hours to reduce the strong chemical smell in the cords. Only complaint was a small hole in one lamp.

One of two lamps ordered did not work
when plugged in. the first lamp (that did not
work after checking the bulb) was very dry when
I unpacked it. since i had never had one of
these lamps I didnt know what to expect.

My only disappointment was with the packing. I bought 2 of these and they were shipped in the same box with very little packing material. These are heavy (like a rock heavy) and when I opened the box one of the dimmer switches was broke into pieces and I know if they had been packed with more packing material that would not have happened. Good news though...I took the broke one back to the Store and showed them how it was packed and they refunded my money with a smile and no questions. I did keep the unbroken one and it makes a great night light and I can smell the salt when I walk into the bedroom. Makes the room smell cleaner!

Great tranquil lamp, love the dimming switch. I ordered two, one for the living room and one for the bedroom. Surprised at how heavy the salt rock is, very pleased with the size for the money. It has a very calming effect and seems to be helping my husband's sinus problem in the mornings. We are still monitoring that aspect (purer air or salt in the air?). I love the soft warm glow. Keeping an eye on the wiring, read some reviews that had problems, but so far it's been great. I would rate this product overall excellent but I've only had them for little over a month.

This lamp is more beautiful than I could even imagine. It has beautiful orange tones. It's easy to take it out of the package and light it up. The picture of the website isn't near as good as what the Himalayan Iconic Salt Lamp really looks like. The dimmer switch allows you to adjust the lamp, so this will also make a really warm and cozy night light. This is an excellent price for what the product is.

Very impressed with this purchase. It sits about 6 to 8 inches above the wooden base so is fairly large. I have always wanted a salt lamp but thought they were too pricey. This lamp is a very reasonable price so I couldn't resist buying one! Very pretty orangey peachy color. Has a roller switch for dimming. Love it!
