Review 3 for Igloo 1.7-cu ft Refrigerator
Great for the price

For a low price of 65 dollars, this thing is well worth every penny. It was really easy to get started using, as soon as I got home with it I tossed sodas in it and they were ready for me in the morning. It even has a little ice area that does really well on freezing water, I think it takes about 2-3 to make a tray of ice.
My only 'negative' comment about it is that it is a little noisy at time but not overbearingly so.
Overall, great product. I would definitely advise someone to get this is they can't afford anything more expensive.

I am giving it a poor review because even though it was in a box, it was dented on the side and in the front. I couldn't return it because I had to get someone to drop it off at my office which is where I saw the dents when it was unwrapped. I am very disappointed that it arrived like this.

The refrigerator is just what we wanted for our basement to keep a few drinks handy and cold. I have the white. First one we received had to be returned because it had several dents on it. Not what I'd expect from a new purchase. However, it was replaced quickly and it's doing its job. You can't beat the price.

My problem is not with the actual product, its the fact that it arrived dented and dinged up! Since I needed to use it right away, I was not able to deal with the hassle of re-ordering a new one and returning this one. It was not available in the local stores in the area, so could not wait for a new one to arrive..The box was not broken, however when I recieved it, the box had been cut along the bottom and they used ONE plastic strap to ship it...it was evident that it had been returned since there was no styrofoam or original packaging to secure the item in the box!!!

I bought this fridge for our 5th wheel RV. I need this size (1.7) so it would fit in the storage compartment. It fits just right and within 30 minutes it was a nice 37 degree cold. the baby size Icetray that come with fridge, froze within 1 hour. this is a good fridge for extra drinks and such as the fridge in our RV is only 8 cu ft. Fed-Ex delivered and of course they put a large dent in the side of fridge. If I had my choose I would not have Fed EX deliver as they have damageed everything delivered to me by them. the dent did not seen to make any difference with function of fridge.

I use this in my classroom. So, I mainly just keep waters, sodas, and my lunch in there. I'm not really that impressed with the door as things seem to have a tendency to tumble out (the little wire "railing" seems too low maybe?).But the main compartment is fine and what gets used mostly anyway. It seems to stay cold nicely. Time will tell how it holds up; but so far, so good.

Wrong dimensions

The actual dimensions of this fridge are different than what is indicated on the website. The width is not 16 inches. This may not be an issue for most everybody but in my case the only reason I bought it was because I have an 16" opening in my RV for a fridge. I ordered this unit after seeing the advertised dimensions, which of course are not accurate. I had to return it.

You may have inadvertently received the wrong model fridge! There are two models made by the same company that are almost identical. one is the model you bought (FR115I) which is indeed the dimensions listed. The other is probably the model you RECEIVED which looks almost the same, is also suppose to be 1.7-cu ft, lists the same features, but the size listed is slightly smaller. You may want to look.
Model No.: FR100-BLACK Shipping Weight (in pounds): 34.85 Product in Inches (L x W x H): 18.5 x 17.5 x 19.25 Walmart No.: 007425277
order this small fridge for our 5th wheel RV to keep in storage compartment. Just the right size and this fridge has a compressor so it will keep things cool and has a dial themostate to regulate temperture. Was delivered in just a few day no charge for shipping but arrived with a good size dent in the side, thanks to Fed EX. I always have damaged items arrive when Fed EX deliverys. I dont expect that to matter with the funtion of fridge. but it would have matter is I were to have it in home. this fridge cooled to a temp of 35 degrees F in lesss than 30 minutes and froze the ice in the little tray that comes with fridge in less than 2 hours.

I puchased this Igloo 1.7 Cu. Ft. fridge for my office merely to keep things cold (lunch, water, fruit, etc.). I chose it because of the low price and the Energy Star rating ($32 annual cost to operate). It does a good job at keeping things nice and cold. It does have a small freezer section which really does freeze solid (I tested the small ice cube tray that came with the unit and it froze them solid). The compressor is a little loud when it kicks in, but it's nothing obnoxious. I've only had the unit for few weeks but the one slight negative so far is that it ices up fairy quickly so it looks like it might require frequent manual defrosting. Overall, I would recommend this product.

Got exactly what I paid for. My husband wanted a small refrigerator for upstairs and it works perfectly. Not too loud and it keeps the beverages at a good temp. Doesn't get freezing cold, but it wouldn't because of its small size. My husband is happy with it.

Perfect size for the office under a desk!

I purchased this little refrigerator to slip under my desk at work so I wouldn't have to use the employee fridge in the office lunchroom; the size is perfect and for me to stock a supply of food for a couple days worth of lunches (plus mid-morning/mid-afternoon snacks) and there's room in the door for a few days supply of drinks in small containers. It also has a little freezer compartment and comes with a tiny 6" ice cube tray which still leaves room to freeze a few containers of yogurt! I don't notice the refrigerator turning on and off because it relatively quiet, and very efficient! I thinks its excellent quality for the price!

The only thing I would change is the theromstat is found on the back of the fridge,so you have to pull it out to adjust the temp. Once you get it set you are good to go.
