Exactly as shown and would have been perfect except for one thing....they have a horrible odor and no matter what I do I can't get rid of the stench! I've tried everything from spraying with air fresheners to washing with soap and even baking soda. Any suggestion?

They're 1 lb dumbbells - what can you say? I will mention that they had a REALLY bad odor that lasted days, so don't put them close to your face.
