It was 80 degrees within days. I live where it only hits 90 a few days during the summer. Usually the hot days are upper 70s. So I was amazed when it worked SO well! I'm so glad I did my research.

Keeps the HEAT!

Covering the pool definetly helps keep (TRAP) the heat during the evening hours when the pool water can cool down 10-15 degrees as the evening temperatures cool down. I noticed that it kept the water temperature from cooling down at least 5-10 degrees VS not covering it. That gives you a head start when the sun comes out and starts warming your pool! It is already 5-10 degrees warmer than if you didnt have it covered. Very durable 'Bubble Wrap" resists tearing and should last many years if you take care of it.

super for above ground pools... this has heated our above ground pool 18x48 from 60degrees to 85 degrees in 5 days. the pool stays between 75 and 80 degrees at night even tho' the air temp. drops to 40-45 degrees at night. It will probably get hotter moving toward summer.
