I have the fan in my bedroom and the remote comes in really handy. Good product and easy to assemble. I already owned one and decided to get another since moving to AZ where every fan is needed in the summer.

I use it EVERY NIGHT! The only complaint I have is you can only turn it on and off...and change the speed with the remote. You cannot make it ossculate with the remote. I sleep with the remote under my pillow, so I can change the speed at night, and also turn it off....before I get up.

Ordered online to ship to store. Took a little longer than I would've liked, but it was worth it. I like that it has a remote, makes it easier at night to adjust rather than having to get out of bed. I prefer a fan that makes some noise, so this was a good fan for that. Have bought the fancy, pretty tower fans before and they just didn't do the job. This fan by far outputs more air, COOL air than any of the $80+ fans we have in our home. However, if you don't like to HEAR your fan working then this fan isn't for you. But if you like to drown out nighttime noises to sleep better and stay cool at the same time then I say "Buy this fan!"

This fan puts out of ton of air. We are using this fan in our bedroom and it almost puts out too much air while it is in the non-rotating position. I thought the price was a little on the high side, but you get alot of fan for the money with this one!

This fan is awesome! I feared the purchase as it was so cheap. It is a nice weight and more quiet than the fan I had which was more than twice the price. Put together so quickly also. I am very picky and this fan gets a huge thumbs up! You will not be sorry to purchase this fan.

The remote is why I picked this fan. The large pedestal is why I bought it. It works perfect. Go big or go home. The 18" is great for the 2 room open space used in. Very quiet for such a large fan. Remember, none of them are whisper quiet for this size fan. It does not vibrate when on high & oscillating. The base or pedestal is the right size for the 18" fan. It is big and does take up floor space, but the fan runs better then most out there because of this. It won't tip over or vibrate on the floor because the pedestal is as large as the fan itself. Very easy to put together & no tools needed. I have only needed low speed to move the warm air through out the 2 rooms from the fire place. I'm sure low will work fine when A/C is being used. Have tried med. & high. The fan performed well. This is one powerfull, very sturdy & nice looking fan.

This fan has great air flow, the remote controls are convenient and last forever, and will even control another exact fan in case you decide to buy two.
The 2 problems we had were;
1. The fan blades loosen, so you have to tighten them every few months, but it allows you to clean the fan at the same time.
2. This fan's life span seems to be only a year before dying.

I got one 2 years ago, a year later, dead. We liked the fan so we bought the exact same one (discovering that the old remote worked with the new fan too). 3 days ago, the fan died too. And we do clean the fans every few months when tightening the blades. Good fan, bad life span, worse investment.

the service was great getting it here in no time at all but was a lil dissappointed in the size of the fan I know the size was listed but it was bigger then what i expected and there was a piece in the package that was not listed on the instructions

My home here in San Diego, does not have air conditioning. In the summer, when it is hot, we open the house at night and us fans yo bring the cool night air and circulate it through out the house. The next morning, when it gets hot, we close up the house and it remains cool through out the day.
