This bike took all of 25 minutes to assemble for a non handy, uncoordinated female. You need a smaller wrench, and a phillips screw driver. There was no dings or scratches in the paint. Also, there is no large parts bag, all the parts are where they go. There are few pieces. The peddles screw in, the bike seat the bolt is on it, you unscrew the nut and tighten. You attach the front wheel, handlebars and the training wheels. That is all of your pieces, bike seat, peddles, handle bars, front wheel, training wheels. Very very easy. The training wheels sit level so there is no wobble. The seat height is 18" and suitable for a 3-5 yr old. The length of the shank isn't super short making it hard for little muscles to peddle. It is not super heavy either making peddling easier. The peddles have grip support and are not tiny like some bikes and the childs feet continue to slip off. A bell easily attatches, some bikes the bars are too wide to accommodate an attachment. Great value!

Good bike for the price. My son loves it. It was easy to put together....even for mom. The only part I had difficulty was adjusting the back tire to loosen the chain. It looks pretty neat with flashy colors. I think a perfect first bike.

We bought the girl version of this for our daughter last year for Christmas, so this year we decided that we would buy the boy version for our son. Huffy is an excellent brand and our daughter's bike is still going strong after a year of alot of play. It is a great buy for the money!

The new bike has lasted through a three year old, a four year old and a seven year old this week, so it is quite tough. The seat doesn't want to stay up, but no problems other than that.

I read the reviews for this bike before I ordered it. We went to the store and let our 3 year old, then 2, try it out and see if he could reach pedals and pedal it easily. The reviews recommended to buy it in box and assemble it yourself so you could make sure it was done right. I don't know if that is necessary! I coudln't understand the directions that were sent with the bike, not even sure they were the correct instructions! Definitely needs lots of oil...it's very stiff at first. It is difficult to read the instructions that are enclosed to know if you put the pedals or training wheels on correctly. I keep having to re-tighten the training wheels. My son rides it with great ease, loves it and we are very pleased. I would recommend this as a first bike for anyone with a small boy/girl. The size is great for a young 3 year old. For the price it is a winner, you could spend a lot of money, but it's their first bike, they are going to fall over a lot and ding it up, plus they are going to use it as a drum and get in the first mud puddle they find. We will definitely be using it for our next two children as well.

My husband put it together in less than 20 mins. My 3 yr old loves it. Even though he never rode a bike (w/or w/o training wheels) before riding this bike, he got on this bike and rode it like a pro, he even stood up to pedal at times (something he saw his 5 yr old sister do on her bike). This bike is definitely a great value and a wonderful product.

I purchased this bike when my son was 2 and a half which was over 2 years ago. It has lasted this long and I'm even thinking about letting my daughter use it until the next size up and then get her a girly bike. It's still in good shape except the foam thing that goes across the handlebar is ripped but I don't care about that. My son didn't learn to pedal for awhile after we got it but is a great bike.

We gave this to our 3 year old nephew for his b-day because he admired it every time his parents took him into the store. He was thrilled to get his "ROCKIT BIKE"!!! The quality and price can't be beat....especially when you see the smile on their face!!! Get it...you won't be disappointed. P.S. you can raise or lower the seat so that the child can grow into the bike according to his/her height.
