When we received the bike we noticed the paint was chipped and had scratches. My husband went ahead and put it together because I was not home at the time and found the front rim was crooked so he had to adjust it himself. We chose not to return the bike because my daughter had been waiting for the bike to arrive and we didn't want to disappoint her. I would not purchase an item like this online again.

This bike took a bit longer to assemble due to the chrome parts attached to the front and rear fenders, but this bike though a cheap Huffy (Known name) is very cool looking cruiser bike, with partially looking suicide handlebars, needs a bit of TLC during assembly but well worth it if you want it all done correctly from the get go....
Only let down is the seat springs! Don't get me wrong they work wonderfully but are very squeaky and not sure if WD-40 will do the job but will see.
My review will be updated as my niece Aislyn uses the bike more frequently.

The one thing that I didn't like is that the stem required a metric allen wrench which I didn't have. Everytime that I have bought furniture or other items that required an allen wrench they always came with it. They cost very little but you have to buy a set.

Although I like the bike that I purchased for my daughter for Christmas, I will not be using site to store again for a major purchase. It was obviously the floor sample that we received and it was very dirty!!!! My wife spent several hours trying to clean the white seat and and handle bars from being in the store. We were able to make bike presentable for xmas, next time I will purchase at store and not site to store.

Huffy makes a good basic bike for a good price, and this model was no exception. Purchased as a gift, the receiver was delighted with the unit - colorful and functional. A seat adjustment was about the only tweak required - should give many years of service to its new owner!

I bought this because the bike my daughter wanted was too big for her. The bike she wanted was a 26" bike. So I bought this and a few accessories so it wold be just like the 26" bike that came with everything, basket, rack, cup holder. After all is said and done I have about the same amount of money in this one as the one that came the way she wanted, just out time and a little work. The bike she wanted was also a Huffy from Wal-Mart. But she loves it and it should last her 3 or 4 years before she grows out of it. You'll see a lot of reviews saying don't buy Huffy bikes they're cheap etc. Don't believe them. If your like me and buying a bike for your child they will grow out of them faster then the bike will wear out so spending money on some expensive brand doesn't matter. And trust me they are all made in China even the $1,000.00 bikes. Don't let the bike shops fool you! I bought a name brand for my son a few years ago and one from Wal-Mart for myself at the same time. Mine is still fine, my sons is a piece of junk and the bike shop says he abused it. Buy from Wal-Mart you won't regret it.

My 9-year-old asked me to post a review. She says, "I would like to tell everyone that this bike is very pretty, and has a very comfortable seat. It rides smooth, and feels very well built, like it will last a long time." As her mom, I'd like to add that I love the retro styling. I test-drove the bike around the Garden Center at our Wal-Mart, and she's right -- it feels smooth & easy. The seat is soft and generously-sized, so you don't get a sore behind from riding it, like you do from so many of today's bikes...and you don't get sore shoulders because this bike lets you sit up straight. My daughter likes the coaster (pedal backward) brakes, because she doesn't have the hand length or strength to use handlebar brakes. I think I might get myself a 26" model for Christmas.

2 flat tires and chain fell off

We bought this bike in the store and brought it home. Our 11 year old daughter loved the bicycle and rode it one time. After the first ride, the bicycle sat in the garage for about a month. We went to ride the bike and found the back tire had gone flat and had a hole right next to the valve. We went to Walmart and bought a tube and replaced the tubing. Rode the bicycle less than a mile - it was great. Five days later, went to go for a bike ride and discovered the front tire is flat - a hold right next to the valve (same problem as the back tire). Went back to Walmart, again, bought another tube and replaced (the second flat tire). Rode the bicycle around the block and while my daughter was riding the bike, the chain fell off... WOW! This IS one of those cases where YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR... or maybe we got a lemon. We put the chain back on and she rode the bicycle around the block again... so far (two days later) as the bicycle sits in the garage, it seems to be fine. Other than that she likes the bike. It's kinda heavy and hand brakes would have been a good option. It's a good price for the bike... can't get much less for a new bicycle.

I'm twenty but short.. 5'0--5'1.. I bought this bike to use on my university campus .. It's been pretty good so far. The only thing is that the seat is pretty squeaky.. i weigh 120...Also, When i received my bike the front part of the fender over my front wheel wasn't properly aligned to the bike.. i took home anyways but it eventually started scraping4 my tire..so make sure if they fix it for you you check that out..not huffys fault tho.. but overall, good bike :)

I am 36 and short i tried the adult bike but couldnt do the pedels so i tried this bike. I love it. Great price great ride other than the seat but i can replace that one. My husband and i love to go riding together mostly at night because its hot here in texas. We ride just about every evening. I say go buy this bike and start your adventure!!!!
