I bought this after previously trying to restore my headlights with another product. I'm not sure what kind of plastic polish is in this kit but it is amazing! I can't explain how great he difference is from before. If you put the work in with this kit it definitely is worth every penny. my headlights look mint!

Not impressed at all!
This kit requires hand-sanding and I got hand cramps from using it before getting a single lens sanded sufficiently. The Meguiar's buffing pad throws excess fluffy fibers in the air while not focusing enough on the lens.

(I see from other videos that Mercedes-Benz has a clear coat on the lens, so I'll try the 3M kits that have a drill mountable disc pad holder and shows restoring even Mercedes-Benz lens with dry and wet sanding with drill mounted discs. The 3M kit also has a buffing pad that mounts on the same drill mountable disc pad holder.)
Meguiar's DID refund my purchase price without even sending the kit to them. I like other Meguiar's products, but certainly NOT their headlight restoration kits.

I purchased the Meguiar's Heavy Duty kit after having less than perfect results 2 years ago with another product. I followed the directions and it delivered. The badly yellowed & oxidized lenses looked "brand new" when finished. Not just better or much better... BRAND NEW. The clarity was just as it was on the car when new. I was so impressed after doing my wife's car that I also used the kit on my own car, so it was an economical purchase as well in that 2 cars were completed with the same kit. Outstanding product and results.

The headlights on my 2004 Cavalier were extremely yellow and gross, and I've tried sanding them and polishing them a couple times before in the past with no success. I got a gift card for Wal-Mart and didn't really need anything, so I decided to pick this up and give it a try since it came with a drill attachment for buffing.
I followed the directions for each headlight, and man, my headlights are crystal clear. I never would've thought it'd make them this clear, but I was wrong. This kit is definitely worth the $21 spent and you'll probably get four, maybe five uses out of it. My headlights were so yellow and rough that I figured sanding them anymore would only make them worse, but they look brand new. I'll be trying it on my roommate's Tiburon tomorrow as well.

Great Results

I was very skeptical that these type products really worked. I was wrong. This kit exceeded my expectations. The headlights on my 8 year old truck look brand new again. It took less than 1 hour start to finish to restore them from dull and yellow to shiny and crystal clear. This kit really does work!!!!!!!!

The headlight lens on my car were so badly yellowed light could hardly shine through.
I followed the directions on the kit and within one hour the lens looked better than new.
