Ive had this for almost a year now and it is still holding up great. Picture quality is comparable to the Samsung in the living room. Has plenty of features and HDMI hook ups. The only complaint is at a higher sound you can hear the plastic rumble, but its not to bad.

The image quality is excellent however the sound was abysmal! It became muzzled at times and the volume is very sporadic. There were strange noises coming from the speakers even. I returned my tv the following week.

Super picture actually clearer and sharper than the Samsung we have which is a couple of years old.
Sound much as expected out of the box ( which is tinny) but with adjustment greatly improves.
Only had a little over a week so can't vouch for long-life performance yet. Time will tell.
Otherwise much as described.

Read mixed reviews about this product, but purchased it anyway because it was such a good deal. Was very impressed on how easy it was to setup. Instructions booklet was easy to follow and quick. Picture quality is great but you definitely need to purchase a home theatre system, tv speakers are not so great. I am extremely pleased with the purchase and hope it lasts? The reviews said that it wouldn't turn on after 2 months. Owned it for 3 weeks now so keeping my fingers crossed...

This is an excellent TV! Especially the price!!! Beautiful picture. Only setback for me is that even on 1 for the volume it is loud. (For us-with this being in an apartment) But other than that I have nothing bad to say about it. Big screen for the money!! Would recommend to anyone!

One of the reasons I chose this TV is that I have an entertainment center that is the dominant piece of furniture in my living room, and the maximum width TV that will fit in it has to be 36.5 inches or less. Until I saw this TV, the only ones I found that are less than 36.5 inches wide were 37-inch models, and those have become somewhat hard to find at a good price. This 39-inch TV is listed as being 36.5 inches wide, so I thought it would fit. I was even prepared to put it at a slight angle, if I had too. When I took it out of the box, I got out my tape measure to check the width, and it's actually exactly 36 inches wide! It fits great!
The picture quality is excellent, and all the features work well. The setup menus are easy to navigate and use. My only criticism is regarding the built-in speakers, which really aren't any good, but I never expected them to be better than they are. There just isn't room in a flat-screen TV this size for a decent set of speakers, and even with excellent speakers, there isn't enough room for enclosing them in a way that provides good acoustics. I strongly suggest to anyone that's buying a flat-screen TV to purchase a sound bar or other speaker system at the same time. I bought a Vizio 32-inch sound bar to use with this TV, and it sounds great.

This is my first flat screen. I checked on many of them and was happy to be able to settle on this one with the many options it has to offer. The size is just right, not to big and still not to small. Price was good, but did not offer in store. So ordering online was to learn patience. It did come in just a few` days. Would recommend this to anyone

It was very easy to set-up,the sound was very good, the picture was beautiful, we loved the tv, the price was great, but on the 36th day in died and could not be revived, I returned it and got a refund.

We needed a TV for the babies room as she likes to watch her favorite Netflix shows. The HD stations are good quality. Blu Ray content is excellent. Have not connected a sound bar, and I noticed that the unit uses a SPDIF output vs Toslink. Not sure if there will be much of difference but keep this in mind if planning on connecting a sound bar. Overall, the blacks looks deep and the color looks accurate.
It's a 60 hrz unit, which does not seem to be a negative with Blu Ray content. I turned on noise and jpg reduction. You'll have to experiment to see how best to reduce any artifacts that appear when images like basketball players, are moving around quickly. For what we are using the TV for, it's just fine.

I was skeptical when I first saw the TV and price, but after researching the company and products on line, the majority of the feedback was overwhelmingly positive. The unit took just minutes to set up, and the quality is very good- even better when you consider the price of the unit. We have been using this TV for several weeks and have yet to have even the slightest problem. I highly recommend it.

Picture quality is fair - the clarity and contrast is not as good as more expensive Samsung or Sony
Sound needed tweaked - it was too loud on lowest level so I had to create a custom user setting
Remote is a good size, not to small or busy

As with other Sceptre models, program your cable or satellite remote to control a Sony TV. With
2 x 10W audio, this TV can play as loud as you want, but little downfiring speakers in these thin sets are very limited in bass. Be sure to access the equalizer and set the two lowest frequency bars at the top of their range. Beyond that, a decent set of computer speakers w/subwoofer or a soundbar will get you good audio via the headphone jack. Be sure to try the nice "surround" audio feature on this TV.

This TV is great was going to get it for me fiance' but she wanted my old 42" TV so I got this for me when I gave her that . This is as good if not better than the one I gave her , don't tell her that ! The color is good the pic is sharp and clear no troubles with the refresh rate , it rocks . So far so good now if it lasts it's a smash hit in my book .

TV was fast to set up. Take off the energy saving setting and put on normal or user. I tried changing the sound controls but liked the factory setup best. Great TV, compares well with my top of the line Samsung. Bought 3 more to put in our vacation condo at the beach.

Not a good product bought for christmas the HDMI ports stop working in about six weeks called customer service not very helpful and telephone number is not working at all times. A month th later finally spoke with someone and they sent me a HDMI cord by mail that didnt work after three weeks of calling and emailing someone finally called med back and they finally sent a service tech that did fix the problem. All is fine now but I WOULD NOT PURCHASE THIS BRAND.

You can't beat it for the money, Sony internals... awesome picture... lots of I/O PC, USB, 3 HDMI, digital audio out. Sound isn't that great as many reviewers have pointed out, doesn't matter to me have sweet A/V system.
