Been a recreational weight lifter for 20 years & love strength training...I do recommend this equipment if you're looking for a stable, compact home gym to add variety to your workouts. Walmart has a GREAT price on the Platinum version and I'd give this product 6 stars (if possible) EXCEPT for the following;
1. Packaging for home shipment is horrible, went through two returned units to get a whole one without parts broken from shipping damage...buy at store or take your chances
2. Some of the materials used in construction are pretty cheap, have my doubts these are built to last years without breaking
Overall, a very versatile product with a DVD program to challenge even experienced gym rats.

More versatile than I thought it would be

The Jack Rack has potential for a lot more exercises than I originally thought it would. I haven't even scratched the surface of all the exercises they show on their website. The equipment is tough and pretty stable. I couldn't believe I was actually able to do full dips on this little aparatus. Also, I thought that the weight plates were pretty cool in that you can screw them onto each other, so you could really stack on an unlimited number of plates to the dumbbells or the barbell. Good piece of equipment, and well thought out.

I tried for months to get this piece of equipment from the Jackrack Company, with nothing but back order delays. Then on the Jackrack facebook page someone posted that Walmart.com had it cheaper, so I cancelled my order with the Jackrack Co., and ordered from Walmart.com and had it in less than a week. This piece of fitness equipment is far more sturdy than I expected, and is one of the best additions to my fitness regimen I could have at home, very versatile, user friendly, and folds away nicely.

I have used items such as Bowflex, Total Gym, and Free Weights and this item has out done all my expectations. The item is heavy duty material but takes up very little space. This item was actually able to bring in the house instead of using it in the garage. And most importantly it is fun to use. I am able to all my exercises with the one machine. I will be selling my bowflex in my next garage sell.
