Mine turned out perfect the first time and it has been 10 days and they still look perfect. I don't know what more you could ask for. One more polish and I have paid the same as I would have at the salon and didn't have to drive 20 minutes and still own the kit!

I purchased this product thinking it would have to work...well i was wrong! It looked beautiful and dried quick, however the next morning i had a chip. By the end of the day i had multiple chips. I took the polish back the next afternoon.

I like being able to do my nails at home. This "gel" takes a lot of maintenance to keep it looking good though. It cracks easily and so there are constant daily repairs that I have to make. Also, my nails are a little damaged from prior salons, so I have to shape the gel with a file a bit so it is not the exact flat shape as my nail. I think that less damage occurs to my nails with this product too. It does not tear my nail when I pick it off, like the salon gel does. It does not last as long though...Try it, just know that you have to work with it a bit.

It's OK with the lighter colors

I have read most of the bad reviews. I don't quite agree with all of them. I will say I have only used the Sheer Pink and Champagne colors, so extremely light. But I have no trouble applying it. Use a light touch with the amount you use. Be sure to interchange the brushes as the instructions recommend. Use a balance of each product and you should have no problems If you use too much color in relationship to the Activator, it will be sticky.
I do not have trouble with chipping. My nails aren't extremely long, but they all reach past the end of my finger tips, so they aren't real short either.
I think the removal process is very easy compared to removing the gel polish The gel polish with the UV light takes at least 15-30 minutes and I have to scrape my nails. This takes 5 minutes and I use a wooden cuticle stick and a fine nail file to remove the last bits and my nails are ready to go again.
The more I use it the better it is to use and my manicure looks better each time.
