This is my first computer. I thought it would be a little smaller. The use of this computer is taking a little longer to adapt to. Not as intuitive as I thought it would be.

I really like this lap top! This is one of the best lap tops, it is fast, clean clear picture, CD, DVD player & so much more! I went to a more expensive store in 2007 and for $600.00 brought a Dell with Windows Vista! :( What a waste of money! I had problems with the program and it was so very slow! I will never buy products from Best Buy ever again!! I would high recommend this lap top and save $200.00! And did I mention I love the lavender color! My husband calls it professional purple!

I've had this laptop for about three weeks and am very happy with it. It is extremely fast and starts up quickly. It is very light and has great displays which can be zoomed by dragging two fingers in opposite directions over the touchpad, like an iPad. This is great because of the small screen, but a pain when it zooms by accident. My only real problems are that the touchpad sometimes locks up and is unresponsive for a moment and is very hard to use in general. I bought a wireless mouse to use instead and that takes care of it. The speakers are also awful, but headphones or external speakers work well. The battery lasts about two hours with constant use, much longer if the computer is inactive for a while. Overall a very good buy and I'm very happy with it.

I a pretty laptop with it beautiful color. I loved it but just a slight problem. I love to webcam and when i use it esp on recording or talking to other people through it, it doesn't record the volume well. You have to be very close and speak very loud to hear what you are talking about other than that it work fine.

I love this laptop it has performed very well and for the Price is a great value. Acer has come a long way I agree the sound is tinny but it is great when using your headphones. Outside of that I have experienced no problems.

This is a good laptop, very chic and light weight. I take my computer everywhere with me. I would recommend this to anyone who wants a laptop for a good low price. The only issue I have is the speakers on the laptop are low, I provise you to have headphones or seperate speakers handy. Overall, this is my first time purchasing an Acer and Im happy that I did. Even my friends are jealous when I bring my computer around because its purple and they just have the boring black cover. This is a good deal.

This a nice laptop * but a key popped of at the 16 day of ownership and Acer will not take care of. I feel that this is an easy fix- I took it to be looked at and all the keys are weak- this the low flat keys. If it was under the 15 day return policy - I would return it. I have to pay $199.99 to fix the problem. READ your warranty-

Looked for about a week for a good computer that will be accepted by my college......I was very worried that they wouldnt accept this computer because of the low processor. It has been accepted by Morrisville State College after they reviewed it. The speakers are able to be heard, cont really use the speakers for blaring music....wouldnt have excepted more for a 500 dollar computer. The slider for web pages stops working when the computer gets hot (only con).

I have been looking into buying a laptop for a while. Most of the ones I have found that had the criteria I wanted were very expensive. Then, I found this on Wal-Mart's website. The price kind of scared me a little for it was kind of low and had the same features as the expensive laptops. So, I decided to read the reviews. It had very good reviews, so I bought it. I am so glad I did. I am very satisfied with my new laptop. It has wi-fi, so internet connection is easy. It is very light and doesn't got hot very fast. I would recommend it.

I fell in love with this laptop just reading about it! I HAD to have it. I got it and it is everything I expected, wanted, hoped for AND then some. I'm not sure what what the complaints about the speakers are all about. Compared to the other computers I've had and dealt with, these speakers are just fine. I love the HD & wi-fi on this thing... too much fun! AND it is PURPLE... can't get much better than that!

This laptop has been the best I have ever owned. The color is exquisite, and the display is really nice too. :) The camera on this Acer is much better than the one on my last Acer laptop. Anyways, I would so recommend this laptop to anyone that is going to use it for simple easy things, along with photo/video editting. Overall this laptop is great.

QUICK REVIEW:Everything is wonderful except for the horrible horrible speakers... If u like the price, size, Manufacturing and color, than this is a awesome notebook if u can afford to use headphones or buy some external speakers. 3 stars doesnt mean its bad, I just figured for $400 the notebook would have at least average speakers.

Well everything is fast and the screen is good, the webcam is good enough, keyboard feels good.. The touchpad is wonderful and the scroll slide on the right feels amazing. The Ram is easy to upgrade. I bought two 4GB chips from Crucial.com and when I installed them I was suprized to find only one 4gb chip already inside instead of two 2gb chips. So maybe u can buy just one 4gb chip of the right type. But I am not PC guru and I am not sure about that so look into it before u do it if u want to upgrade the ram.. But anyways, everything is nice and decent fast also the light purple color and designs on the machine are nice and its over all a sexy looking notebook.

ABOUT THE SPEAKERS: The speakers on the one I have, are the absolute worst speakers I've ever heard... They are tinny, crackly and quiet. SO SO SO cheap.. I think the mono speaker on my cheap cell phone is louder and clearer than these things are.. So if u plan on getting this notebook, understand that these speakers are garbage and you will need to use Headphones or external speakers if u want to enjoy any kind of movie, music or voice chatting. Oh and I have been told that the microphone works well. I would recommend something like the Logitech z205 speakers if u want portability and decent sound..
I love Acer products, their pc's are semi fragile but if u treat em good they will last as long as u need. and they are fast inside.. So Deffly a fan of Acer stuff. I have had 2 acer notebooks, 1 desktop, and 2 tablets. They all work wonderfully. Minus the speakers in most cases. Anyways this is my few words about this notebook. Oh and the battery is normal for cheaper notebooks. it'll last 2-4 hours on basic web browsing etc.

Very impressed with this computer. Only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because it's brand new, hasn't stood the test of time yet. It has just as many features as my previous well known brand laptop for half the price! The battery life is twice as long. I owned an Acer desktop in 2002, and never had any trouble with it, ended up giving it to family. I had it up and running within 30 mins, and I'm no computer whiz. Would recommend to anyone.
