I very much enjoy this product. It is extremely quick. I also enjoy the bigger screen, than the normal 10 inch netbook. Yet it is still light enough for easy travel.

I bought this Laptop for my 10 year old daughter, for her entertainment and for school work. We've had it for a month and so far so good. She's been able to surf the net to her heart's content, type up documents and send them to our wireless printer, and even play a few games. The design is sleek, and its light weight makes it easily portable. It was ready to use after only a few minutes of set up. I'm not sure how long the battery lasts because my daughter often just plugs it into a nearby outlet. I'm hoping this computer will hold up for a couple of years. If that's the case, I would definitely rate it an excellent value.

I basically bought this because of it's lightweight slim design and portability you must upgrade the ram I guarantee you max out the ram for about 25 dollars or less and you will be able to have stable more reliable laptop. Gaming it good for gaming on the low end of graphic settings but i usually just use it for college basic document use has plenty of room for storage recommended for college students.

Works great for what I bought it for (surf the web, check email...). It,s a little slower than I would like but for the price I can't complain. Does everything I need it to do and it arrived at my door in about 3 days with free shipping. Like it well enough I bought a larger one for my nephew for school.

Wanted to put no only because it has no CD drive which doesn't state that in the description. Should have known that since it was just a tad bit cheaper. I am sure it would have been another $100 at least if that was included. Now I have to go out and buy one because most of my programs will not operate without the CD/DVD. But it is better than having no computer at all since the one I purchased last year just died on me last month. So the Toshiba didn't last a whole year! Won't purchase that brand again. I didn't have the time or money to get it fixed. So far so good this product is working for me. We will see what happens in August 2013.

I got a tablet for travel but found it hard to use since it had Android system software instead of Windows and no keyboard. This is a small laptop, not really a a netbook at all. Windows 7 Home Professional and a really fast processor. 350 GB hard drive has space for all my work and full size keyboard. I love it.

I am going to college in a couple weeks and needed a laptop, so I looked online and found a bundle (includes: laptop, USB, and laptop case). I only paid a little less than 300 (my price range). I thought that because of the price I wasnt expecting to love it. But I do!!!!! I chose the red one, it's my baby! If you are even looking at this lap top GET IT! It's super fast, light weight, attractive. and compactable. Its an unbeatable price/value. I havent even installed my software and it's still super fast,.. I hope this review was helpful and my point is weather you need this for, work, play, school, whatever you need/want it for, chose this one. You will NOT regret it....seriously.

I got (3 to 5 weeks ago) this to replace an old laptop that was a backup for my desktop and for travel. Sure enought my desktop got sick and this little lady got the jobs done.
For me Pros:
Small & lite. Enought memory for travel. Fast enought. priced right.

I love the portability and light weight of this laptop. The operating system is Windows 7, which seems to be just fine for me. My primary computer is a Mac and I needed something small to run the few critical Windows apps I require. But be warned- this laptop has absolutely NO WAY to load programs into it from a disc! I cannot give it 5 stars because it lacks this capability. I bought two different external CD drives to be able to load in my special apps, and neither one will work with this laptop. I bought this computer as a "bundle" and the bundle listed "suggested accessories" to buy with it. A program disc was suggested, I bought it, and now I cannot even use it. This was very misleading. So, even though it is a nice, convenient laptop avoid the temptation to buy ANY programs that have to be installed by disc.

My teenage daughter uses this mainly for homework assignments, Internet/Facebook and iPod-iPhone syncing, all of which this does with no problems. If there was any want, it would be a CD/DVD drive (we have since purchased an external unit)

Very happy with the Acer Aspire 11.6" laptop. I have had five weeks and have used approximately fifteen hours. The Acer performs almost equally to my 17" HP laptop I use at home. The only con I have is the touchpad. The thumb bar being on the edge of the case is awkward. Bring along a mouse. Yes, the battery does last 7 hours. I purchased an external DVD drive and use on the plane for movies. Works great. The computer comes with Word and Excel starter version that perform all basic functions very well. A nice addition. For traveling it's great, small and light.

I bought this laptop for my 10 yr old grandson to use because he suffers from dysgraphia (a disorder that makes it difficult for him to write). It's not a blazing fast laptop, but it meets his needs. It's the perfect size, weight, and design for a youngster learning how to use a computer. It would also be suitable for college students. The included programs are suitable for average users.

Fantastic little travel companion...boots up fast, beautiful display, added 4gb memory and for email-surfing it's perfect. Took it to work and everybody wanted to know how much it cost...told them. They didn't let the door hit them on the way out to Walmart!
