I was very dissapointed in my tower, no one said that microsoft was not included, that their was a three month free trial. Then you have to purchase the software.

I'm sorry that your computer didn't fit your needs. I have a little hint about that microsoft office thing. If it doesn't mention anything about Word, Office, Excel, ect. then it doesnt have any sort of Office program except for the usualy 60 day Trial. Hope this helped for future reference :-).

I purchased one last week, came with Home Edition 7 for $148. Best advice do not purchase ANYTHING refurbished!!!! Yes you can return, but how inconvenient is that!!!! Hard drive died after 1 week, called out the pros, $200 later, I have practically brand new computer. Best warning I ever recd, but did not heed, Never Purchase Refurbished, its like buying a used car!

The PC was very easy to setup and run. Love that it doesn't come with all the ads and extra software that is already loaded on computer when you buy a new desktop. The only problem I had was with the DVD drive. It would not open by pushing the button. I had to open it by putting a paperclip into the small hole below the drive drawer. Also the clock was does not work. It works for an half hour and then stops. Other than these two little discrepancies, the desktop was very easy to setup and it runs great.

The product works great. Good thing I already had a HP monitor, keyboard, and mouse. All I really needed was a computer. Now I have a spare keyboard and mouse and I saved hundreds of dollars.

It does run great so no complaints there. But oddly enough, I like to unplug all of my electronics to save on electricity. But everytime I go to unplug my computer tower, it sets the date back to 1960s(EVERYTHING goes reset). why? Says something about there not being a battery inside...and look into it. I know its refurbished but why is there a part missing to keep it from doing this? This is HIGHLY annoying. I paid for refurbished.. previously owned, not from to expect parts missing. Other than that, I love it :)... SO BE AWARE.... I've never had an issue with this with other computers but this one.. is a different story.

That problem is most likely the CMOS Battery on the main board (either dead or missing). Not a hard fix, but would cost you some $$'s to have it done professionally. I wouldn't recomend leaving it with this problem, because other settings of the computer can be effected in the future. You're probably still within the warranty period ... so you'd probably be wise to return it back to Walmart, and then order a replacement. If its been REFERBISHED, it SHOULD NOT have a dead or missing CMOS Battery.
