Maybe I'm using too much or too little but since I'm a minority here, I have to say this eyeshadow does NOT have staying power!!!! The shine stays. I agree. But the shadow color creeps into the pores and dries quickly leaving a "cratered" polka dot look. I'm not sure if its the oil consistency of my eyelids or the product itself but this shadow needs more work in the lab. The color I tried was Barely Branded.

I like this shadow it does last and resists creasing. I don't know about 24 hours but i have a long comute and work day and after 12 to 15 hours it is still there and looking good. I apply with my fingertip as i have found that it works best that way.

Too Cool!

I bought the Too Cool, and it really makes my brown eyes pop. It's thick, and creamy. I apply it using my finger, and I barely have to use any to get a nice, even coverage. The color is vibrant, and it lasts all day. Was a bit wary on the price, but am glad I decided to buy it. :)

I was pleasantly surprised by the staying power of this eyeshadow. I have slightly oily lids and most cream eyeshadows tend to migrate into my eyes after 6-7 hours. Maybeline Color Tattoo, however, did not. (I can usually tell because my eyes would start to sting and water.) I sweat and splash my face with water multiple times during the day, and the eyeshadow still stays put.
I have tanned mid-tone Asian skin and bought taupe and bronze. In one layer (by itself or over another eyeshadow), bronze is sheer and glimmering, which looks very pretty and subtle. Taupe is a little surprising. In the pot, it is a grayish brown, but on my eyelids it's almost purely gray. It may be due to my skin tone, but I have also read a number of blogger reviews that complained about the color change. Anyway, I love it and wear it almost everyday.

This eye shadow is excellent! I have tried just about every kind of eyeshadow there is and this is by far my favorite. The color is very vibrant and stays on all day. I wear "Painted Purple" and pair it with Maybelline Eye Studio Color Explosion in "Amethyst Ablaze".

I have very greasy eyelids, so finding an eyeshadow that didn't crease after a couple of hours was a challenge that I thought impossible. I even used an eye primer, with moderate success, until I finally decided to try Color Tattoo eyeshadow (Bad to the Bronze) on a whim, and lo and behold, I am happy to report that this is the first eyeshadow that I ever tried that lasted from early morning to evening in an almost intact condition. I am sold! It is very easy to appy, too. Highly reccommended.

I bought this item about 3 days ago, I bought pomegranate punk and tenacious teal, they are both wonderful, I've used them both for about 8 hours or more, and lets just say this, you see no difference from the moment you put them on to when your taking off your makeup, there is no creasing, no smudging, running, anything like that, they are so pigmented, and they blend well, but you have to work fast, cause once they dry, then its hard to blend, I'm not saying you have to be super quick, just that dont take your time, get it done, and dont do anything while doing your eyes. This is the best eyeshadow cream I have ever gotten, and I will just say this, I have never had any luck with eyeshadow creams, never, not until I bought this, so trust me when I say you will love this item.

It is a good product, really worth its money! Its actually one of those times when Maybelline produces something worth spending money on. :) I bought it in color "Too Cool" (White), and I love it!! Just beware (which is a positive thing!!) you really need a small amount to apply in order not to look like an owl, which means it would last longer. Secondly, once you put any amount on, it is irremovable by a q-tip, unless you're using some eye-makeup remover! :) It also does not chip, does not crease, but is really pretty good! :)

I just love this eyeshadow. I originally got it in Bad to the Bronze, and liked it so much I got it in Emerald, Purple and Pomegranate. If you use your finger to apply, wash your hands immediately because it does stay on. I have used a small brush also and use as an eyeliner.

Ive been wanting these for so long but walmart was always out of stock and that drove me nuts! they looked sooo pretty and i was tired of having to re apply my shadow so the 24 hour stay sounded great. i bought the white,gold,bronze,black and teal ones first and omg the teal and white are by far my favorite their soooooo pretty! and if u want a lighter sky blue you can wait a minute til the teal dries then go over it lightly with the white and its soooo pretty and shiny they all are i went back and got the purple and green! i am one of those people who sleeps in her makeup alot so when i wear this i can just get up and go and my make ups perfect! i buy a lot of eye shadow and this is by far my favorite. by the way applying is easier with brushes and elf brand brushes are a dollar a piece.

dries fast enough so it doesn't smear if you blink but with enough time if you want to smudge or add layers
really long lasting, i have oily lids and usually have to use primer but didn't have to with this and it still lasted 10+hrs without flaking/fading/raccoon eye
only con: the color wasn't as deep as i liked and wish they offered more color variety
excellent value for the price and better than some of the mall brands

I have oily skin, and these work great! They last forever, and do not crease at all. I use them as a base under my eyeshadows, and it will last, not move, and look vibrant. I didn't read this from the other reviews so I will say, if you plan to use these as a base for your shadows, make sure you work fast. They do tend to dry quickly! Other than that, its all love! I have Too Cool, Audacious Asphalt, Tenacious Teal, Painted Purple, and Bold Gold!

There is another long wearing eyeshadow out there by L'oreal that I like a lot, but I wanted to try this in the green color. I do like the color, it does stay on well (I have a problem with my eyes watering sometimes that prevented me from wearing eye shadow for a long time) but I find that this is a little difficult to apply, it seems to go on a bit streaky, so it takes a little bit more time than I would like to get it looking the way I want.
