Only thing I didn't like about it was trying to get the little cup out when they were hot, or grabbing the little knob in the center that held the cup tray that was very hot. Couldn't use a hot pad to grab it. But the eggs came out very very easy.

What a relief to finally get a product that produces what it promises. We were tired of the old "float the egg in simmering water" trick and since years ago I had a poacher/steamer, it was time to locate a new poacher. I like this egg poacher very much, the clear lid is a big plus. I only wish it had a bigger or heat resistant knob to lift the top section for easier egg removal. Either that, or a slit in the pan where you could insert a fork to lift the egg section off the boiling water when the eggs are done cooking.

Good fit and finish all around. Am not real fond of the spots that have appeared on the interior of the pan after initial use. I try to keep my pots and pans looking brand new as long as possible so I may be too picky on this issue. Well constructed and sturdy pan, eggs release easily from the cups and the lid fits tightly. A much heavier pan and poach cups than found on similarly priced sets. I would buy again.

Bought my first Tramontina poacher 5 years ago and use it almost daily while at home. Cooks the eggs evenly & quicker at a lower temperature than any of the 4-cup poachers I've tried. It still looks like new and works excellent. I add a little vinegar to the water every once in awhile to remove any water spots in the pan.

I gave this to my husband for a Christmas gift (yes, he wanted it!). He is NOT a cook but he loves poached eggs and had never made them before. He has made us breakfast with perfect poached eggs 4 out of 4 times so far. It's GREAT. Simple to use, simple to clean up. Attractive product.
