I was really excited about buying this for my daughter, but I was hesitant about spending $25.00. It seemed a little steep, but I thought it was worth a try. Once we purchased this we realized how overrated it really was. The volume doesn't go up very high at all, in fact you can barely hear it at all! Within a few days the blue and green lights stopped working and only red would appear which lets be honest doesn't show up good at all on the ceiling. Don't waste your money. This thing should be selling for 10.00 dollars or less.

I expected it to be a little better than what it was, it didnt show up on the ceiling to well and I thought the lights would move or something, but they didnt. Wasn't worth it for me, so I took it back.

I received this one and another light turtle (that did not play music) for babyshower gift. Absolutely love this butterfly. Batteries don't last long though. Really helps in middle of the night after feeding your baby and you can lay baby down and baby will fall fast asleep.

My daughter (almost 4 years old) saw a competitor's product on tv, and was hooked... luckily, she was more than satisfied with this (at a third of the cost of the other). She loves the blue stars, and will sometimes listen to the music (4 song choices) or the nature sounds (2 choices). I love that you can combine stars with sounds. There is also a heartbeat option, but she's a little old for that. I also love that it turns off after 30 minutes. Nice to not have music and lights ALL NIGHT long!

My daughter got this as a gift for Christmas when she was only 1 month old. She was a pretty fussy baby and I had to get creative finding ways to get her to sleep. The first night we had this toy, at 1 month old she was staring at the stars on the walls. She loved it! She is now 9 months old and she just started sleeping in her crib in her own room. This toy gets her to sleep so fast. One night my husband forgot to turn it on and she cried for a while until I checked on her and turned it on. Then she was quiet. Such a wonderful toy and would make a wonderful gift!

My five-month-old LOVES this! I originally bought it for the car because she has such a hard time being driven around at night but it's stayed in her crib with her. The red light isn't very bright but the blue and green are prettier anyway. :) If she wakes up and I don't hear her, instead of fussing or crying she'll scoot to the other end of the crib and hit the buttons so she has music and light. It totally keeps her calm and occupied! Not necessarily a must-have but pretty darn convenient and if it makes life a little easier, it's worth the money!

I purchased this for my grandaughters first birthday. Her 3 yr old brother thought it was so cool in the dark with the stars and moon he had it the first couple of nights until mom & dad told him he had to let his sister have it. Needless to say, I've now purchased the frog version of this to give him for Easter. I'll be the greatest grandma ever!!

Great way to get baby to sleep

When I first saw this sitting on the shelf I instantly had to have it! Not only is it the cutest thing that I have ever seen, but it also meets every expectation that I had. Come nap time for my five month old daughter, I laid her down in her bassinet and turned this wonderful little contraption on and it instantly put her right to sleep! She loves the blue LED setting and the sounds of the crickets chirping! The only problem with this product is the Red LED setting isn't very bright (I don't use it anyways so it really doesn't matter at all). I highly recommend this to any expecting or new mother!
