Can't really say personally how good the product is as it was sent as a gift to someone else. The ones who received it were quite pleased with it though. I was real impressed on how quickly the order shipped and how quickly it arrived at the persons house we sent it to. I would definitely recommend ordering online from Walmart and I would do so again.

We bought this for our baby due in june 2013. I didnt want to have only the infant carrier, and thought this would be great for my other daughter who is 3 and 30lbs until the baby gets bigger. We had my older daughter in a booster, but didnt feel very safe because she is so small. We tried this seat once and never looked back. She loves this seat. She is comfortable and secure. It adjusts and can grow with her. It fits nicely in the small backseat of our Jeep. It also is awesome because i can use it rear facing for our next baby and it will completely adjust to her needs as well. We will use this for years to come. It has great features and was an affordable price. The fabric is sturdy and breathable in the AZ heat, and the cupholder holds her sippy cups nicely. Im sure it will work fine for bottles as well.

I have 3 kids and needed something that would fit in my CRV. The head rests are great and my baby is much happier in this one. She is rear facing and the vehicle seats are at an angle. It was a little difficult getting it level. I think forward will be a lot better. I have two vehicles and will need a second one. I would buy this seat again.

A little hard to install. I just used the seatbelt as opposed to the tether latches. The way the seat is made it is hard to feed the belt through the underside of it. Also, I ordered two for my twins and on each one the size adjuster for the shoulder belts of the actual car seat were totally different from each other. The seat is a nice almost microfiber material.

I was so surprised when I opened up the box upon arrival because the pink is way too charming! It is so much vibrant that in the pics of the walmart.com. It is the perfect size and holds true to its description regarding the safety head protectors. My daughter loved it and I think it supercedes the price for its quality and appearance.

I bought this carseat when my daughter was two months. It works perfectly and the cushions on the sides make it nice and cozy for her!! I like the ease of adjusting the straps.

Only had one problem with this. But let me say first I love this carseat. it's comfortable for my child, the straps stay tight, it was easy to install in our Cobalt. The only downside and my only problem is the dimensions the site gives are smaller than what it actually is. It's still smaller than most other seats just bigger than what the dimensions stated.

I absolutely love this car seat. We use the LATCH system in all of our cars and this seat has been the best and easiest to install, it weighs less, and isn't as bulky as other seats. I had an Alpha Elite Omega in my Elantra, and it was way too big, after researching the best compact car seat, this was it! I have two other Alpha Elite Omega's for my boyfriend's car and my mom's car and they do not compare to this at all! I recently had gotten into an accident in my new car when my daughter wasn't in it (thank god!) however, Rhode Island law states if any car seat has been in an accident it needs to be replaced and I plan on buying this same exact one as replacement.

Review 16 for Safety 1st - Guide 65 Sport Convertible Car Seat, Lydia
I bought this seat to move my 10 month old from her infant seat and she really seems to like it. This seat has a lot more cushion and seems more comfortable than many of the more expensive car seats. The only "complaint" I have about the seat is that I had some difficulty getting it to the right postion and getting it tight enough in my car. Many seats, especailly rear facing, present some difficulty in installation so I wasn't really bothered by it. Overall I would (and have) recommend this seat to a friend. Great seat, especially for the price.

Review 18 for Safety 1st - Guide 65 Sport Convertible Car Seat, Lydia
I was looking for a seat that would fit my 5 year old, 45+ lb, 45+ inches tall daughter still in the harness. She was too big for the harness on other seats, but I wasn't comfortable with her just in a booster and seat belt. Money is really tight like a lot of people, but I still wanted her to be safe. This seat was the perfect option. Is does not feel cheap or unsafe. I have two other Safety 1st seats (the Alpha Omega and Complete Air 35) and this is the same great quality even with the lower price. I highly recommend this seat to everyone.

It fits your daughter good with her being 45+inch?
Posted 04/23/2013
I ordered this same carseat in grey for my son. He is 4 1/2 and weighs 50lbs and is 43 inches tall and when it got it it seemed to fit him just right without a whole lot of room for growth. Im not sure if that's just because they made the carseat to fit a smaller car or not. How much room does your daughter have for growth in your carseat? I would like to keep my son harnessed as along as possible too. I have the Britax Froniter in my car, so this carseat would just be for a backup for my husbands car.

Great carseat. The only problems: it needs pool noodles to be reclined properly for rear facing, the cup holder is flimsy and the cover doesnt cover the very top properly. however, its very comfy and pretty. the color is a bit darker in person though.

Gap in back where belt goes through

I bought this for our granddaughter who was outgrowing the infant only seat. It looks great and does hold her in with a good harness system. Sounds good so far. Parents of baby have an old car with big chunky seat-belts. Trying to put this in the back seat center is when we discovered that the buckle chunk would rest in the baby's back. The plastic shell of the car seat is not all the way down the back! Where the seat belt goes through to anchor it they simply bubbled out the plastic and anything placed through that directly impacts the baby's back. (All directions were followed.) This car seat looks nicely padded and is around the sides of the head but parents discovered on long trips a blanket or towel needs to be added to the seat back as there is very little padding there so it becomes very uncomfortable for baby very quickly. I think this seat would be good for quick trips (newer cars) for people who only have a small child temporarily and need one that installs easily and quickly. Long term, no. I would not buy this if I had to do it over.
