after a few trial & errors with other monitors, i finally ended with this. i bought the set with 2 adult units and couldn't be happier. the only annoying part is if u turn off the child unit first, there is LOUD white noise on the adult end. not a huge deal tho. i have never used the vibration setting but can tell u that it is very noticeable. :)

I would not recommend this set of baby monitors. We bought these in our local store. It is the only brand offered in our store with the dual receivers. They have a lot of static. If I turn the fan or AC on in the nursery it is nearly impossible to hear my children. . It is very difficult to hear my children sleeping/moving/doing anything in the nursery. The volume is very quiet to begin with. I had it on the other day while in the bathroom-unplugged (using the battery) and it was whining. It was so loud my husband could hear it down stairs and thought it was the fan on in the bathroom. I am very disappointed in the quality of this set of monitors.

I actually purchased the monitor to use with my 80 year old mother who has COPD. I really do not like her being in one bedroom that is located all the way on the other side of the house from my bedroom. I was always afraid that if she had difficultly breathing a night that she would not be able to alert me to the problem. With this monitor, that is not a problem. If my mother needs me in the middle of the night all she has to do is call my name. I clearly hear her all the way across the house in my bedroom. There is absolutely NO STATIC with my monitor. I find that if the monitor is in a room with televisions, radios, etc you will get static but, with the monitor in a quite bedroom there is absolutely no static. I would recommend this monitor to use any time you need to be able to hear what's going on in your baby's bedroom or anywhere else.

So I bought this about a yr ago, and after a month of having it it wasnt working like it should. I tried to use batteries once for the first time and they died in less than an hour. About 4 months after we bought it, it makes static noise the whole time. We checked for interferences and it does it no matter where it is... I am finally fed up with it and going to get a new one and its def. not going to be this one..

Way too much static. You can't hear anything. When you move around the room it gets even worse. If you walk outside it loses connection. You will spend more money on batteries so you mine as well buy a nicer monitor that works better! Would not recommend this to anyone!

Everything interferred with it. We had the receiver in our bedroom & nothing could be plugged into our walls. No charging cell phones, no TV, no lamps-NOTHING! It had the absolute worst static ever & could't hear the baby over it. We tried it out in different rooms & even at a different house-same thing. We took that sucker back quick!

Have had this for over a year and would still have it if our kitten hadn't gone crazy on the chord. We bought this when we had our first son and it is great, could hear every peep from his room. Only time we heard static is when a cell was plugged into the same outlet and laid close to the reciever, other than that no problems. the night light was great, not too bright but i could watch him breath if i poked my head into his room and it never bothered him or kept him up. all in all it was much better than i expected for the price and i will be buying the exact same one for the arrival of our newest son in august.

I get nothing but static where ever you i go in my house! When i walk by it makes the static louder or it just does it on its own... i do not recommend this monitor at all!

I got this monitor when we moved to a new house because my daughters bedroom was going to be downstairs and mine upstairs, I've had it for about 4 months and I love it. I read some of the other reviews and haven't had any problems with mine. No static, you only get static if you turn the volume way up which isn't really needed because it picks up the faintest whine and can be clearly heard on the lowest volume. My monitor also sits under our tv and next to the cable box and xbox, we have no other electronic interference. This is an excellent monitor the price.

Ive had this monitor for a while and its been horrible since Ive gotten it but after last night I had to write a review hoping to stop someone else from wasting their money on this product! This monitor has caused problems from the get go and at times not worked at all! It picks up static from anything and everything, not just eletronic devices, it cant be near certain walls and pieces of furniture or even people for no reason at all! For a long time we had found just the right spot and the unit worked with no static but we recently moved our sons room around and changed the location of the monitor and now ALL I get is static and buzzing noises and I cant hear my child at all! Last night it buzzed half the night for no reason at all so I had to unplug it and still barely slept worrying about hearing my son. Just walking around and changing positions in the house causes it to go from a dull buzz to an all out roar! This is the most useless piece of garbage Ive ever owed DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!!

We got this monitor to use for our son, who is now 18 months old. We have used it every night (actually we leave it on all the time). We have never had a problem with it. The sound is clear and picks up well, even from across the room. We live in a neighborhood and bother our neighbors have babies. We were afraid we would get interference, but hasn't ever happened. We use the night light feature in our son's room. I would HIGHLY recommend this to anyone looking for a non-camera monitor.

I don't normally submit reviews although I should because I rely on them for my own purchase choices all the time! However when I saw that this monitor only had one star, I felt I needed to add my opinion because I have had absolutely no complaints or problems with this unit. It is basic, and not many frills, but IT DOES THE JOB and doesn't break the bank. I also live in a small apartment setting, and the only static I've experienced has been when I had multiple things plugged into the same outlet. Under normal circumstances, the clarity has been just fine and if it isn't exactly perfect I can usually move it a little bit here or there, and it will improve. Overall, if you are on a budget and don't want to sacrifice your baby's safety to save a dollar, this monitor will serve your needs just fine. It deserves more than 1 star, I'd say it's atleast a 4 star product in my experience.

These monitors do not work. I was hoping they were going to be good because of the brand, but all they do is cause static, no matter what I try. I would recommend a different brand or a more expensive product, because this was not worth the money and didn't work at all. I was really disappointed.

I bought this monitor for our first baby. We live in a smaller house but wanted it to make sure I can hear her in the nursery. I am diappointed in the monitor, but with the cheap price I guess I should have expected it. There is horrible static...constantly and if there is any other electronic around it, such as a cell phone it becomes even worse. The static is so loud that I cannot sleep with it on, so I have just been sleeping with our bedroom doors open so I can hear the baby if she cries at night. Plus the batteries are NOT rechargeable and I have to replace the batteries at least every 3 days, and that is with using the monitor for a couple hours each day. Honestly I would spend a little more money and get a better monitor which is what I ended up doing; I just don't want others to waste their money on this product.
