The Bissell PowerGroom Bagless Upright Vacuum offers a multi-cyclonic cleaning system that captures more fine dust in the dirt container to keep your filters clean longer. This extends the suction power and cleaning performance of your vacuum. The clear dirt container allows you to see how much you have vacuumed up and it makes it easy to remove an object that was vacuumed up by accident. Combined with a HEPA Media Filter* and on-board tools, this Bissell Upright Vacuum is the perfect versatile all-in-one for convenient cleaning.
*The filter media, not the vacuum as a whole, complies with the IEST-RP-CC001.5 or the EN-1822-1:2009 HEPA standard.

I previously had a different model of Bissell Vacuum and had to replace it (our new puppy chewed off the cord). I wasn't going to purchase a Bissell because I wasn't entirely happy with the performance of our old vacuum, heavy and hard to push. Because of the reviews on this vacuum and Walmarts return policy, I decided to give this PowerGroom a try. I am thrilled with this, it is lighter in weight, much easier to push and does a fantastic job on my carpets. I couldn't believe the amount of dust, dog hair and other debris this vacuum picked up in just the first vacuuming. Went over the carpet twice again, and still more dust and debris was removed. Decided to have the carpets cleaned professionally and even the carpet cleaners were amazed at how clean the carpeting was. They pulled out very little even with their professional equipment. I would not hesitate to purchase another vacuum just like this one if the need arose. We will see how it performs over the long haul, I've only had it a month, but I'm very pleased with my purchase. It's smaller size means a few more sweeps, but with it's cleaning power, easy maneuverability, well worth it. It's also easier to store in our hall closet because of it's size.
I purchased this vacuum based upon the reviews. I live in an apartment and have 2 cats. I needed something durable and lightweight since my 8yo LOVES to vacuum! He vacuums everyday and enjoys being able to carry it around. Its compact size allows for easy storage and I love how much dust it picks up!
It is okay for light small jobs but not so good for carpets. My main objection is its so loud, has kind of a high pitch whistle that I can barely tolerate. Maybe there's something with the unit I got. It's also harder to push on my dense carpet but okay for doing stairs which is why I bought it and you can't beat the price. If you look it up on Amazon you will find it for twice as much. I gave it two stars because its so loud and doesn't deep clean carpet. I use it mainly as a second vacuum for small jobs and its light enough to carry up and down my stairs. I don't have pets but I have a messy hubby that I love very much and this vac does a good job cleaning up his crumbs
I use this vacuum daily ,lightweight, durable, great with pet hair, best thing is you can break it down to clean filter which I couldn't do with my expensive Dyson. need to be able to do that if you have pets because of the odor your vacuum cleaner will have.
I received this item as a bridal shower gift. I currently have the eureka 12 amp vacuum from walmart (which my puppy thought eating the cord would be fun). When i opened this package it was simple to put together only ONE screw! I was wary at first seeing how light and small it was but when you hit the power switch you can tell it has a powerful suction! I ran my regular vacuum, then this new one and it was mind boggling to see how much it picked up that the eureka didn't! I am extremely happy with this gift! I would recommend it~
I've had my vaccuum for 6 months and it just gave out tonight, while trying to vaccuum my rug. Had my husband to take a look at it to see what was the problem, and the thing starting sparking. It has an awful smell as if something inside is burning. Now, I have to see about getting a new vaccuum. Not happy at all.......
I received this vacuum and thought it was bigger. But it works great. It's super easy to clean and cleans very well. I only gave 4 stars because I wished it was a little wider.
This is a lower priced vacuum, and I cannot believe all the stuff this thing picked up! The wheels are a little cheap and rough rolling it around, but when you're vacuuming you can't notice. For the price you can't beat it my older vacuum wasn't picking things up well enough and when I bought this I vacuumed right away and it picked up so much dirt and dust that my other vacuum had been leaving behind. Super easy to empty also, I love how you can see all the stuff you're sweeping up swirling around in the little tank!
I'd love to give this 3 stars just for how well it picks up pet hair! I just bought it today, used it in the house, was surprised at how extremely well it picked up hair and how much dirt it got, but when sunflower seeds got spilled on the floor- I detached the hose to clean them up and found a large CRACK where the hose attaches to the floor section. I had to give it at least 2 stars because it works so well, but with the crack down the side of where you attach the hose- I won't buy another one for fear of something else being damaged. If the rest of it was made as well as the vac unit- it'd be 5 stars.

Crack or no crack, I'm rebuying! I returned the above mentioned cracked one and thought I'd upgrade to the Bissell Pet Rewind. IT WAS A DOWNGRADE! The pet Rewind is too heavy, too noisy and I had to clean the filters after using it once! It didn't pick up as well as this Power Groom either. I'd rather use electrical or duct tape on the crack and have a great vacuum than pay more for junk.
Purchased this in 2012 after we got our tax return.. I was excited to get a "heavy duty" vacuum, instead of a stick vac, since we have three young kids and lots of messes. But after just over a year of use the motor is SHOT! We spent about $90 on it at the time and it will cost $60 just for the part.. not to mention labor to fix it! The 1 yr warranty is over..so no help from Bissell.. it's now on us.
I will say, I regularly cleaned the container, both filters, made sure the hose wasn't clogged and cleaned off the brush on the bottom. I'm not sure what happened, maybe we just used it too much.. but I am extremely upset that this happened and wont' be buying Bissell products ANYMORE!
I will also say, this vacuum is extremely heavy, hard to push and a pain in the butt to empty since things get stuck in the top area of the canister and tend to fall out when you empty it.. making another mess to clean up. It is also very loud!
The only things I really did like was the upholstery brush,it was great for the couch and chairs.. as well as the long cord, which made vacuuming an easy one trip deal and the fact that it was pretty wide so it covered a lot of area at once.
I went back and purchased another company's stick vac.. and it's been working great so far... no problems and much better design.
I live in an apartment where I have a very small carpeted room. A space that I share with my dog and since I do have a dog that primarily lives in my room, my room often smells like dog. I tried a couple different stick vacs since space is at a premium in my room, but none of them had enough power to really clean my carpet well. Then I got this vacuum. While it is definitely bigger than the stick vacs that I was hoping to use, it's still on the small side for how much power it does have. And it has a bunch of pet attachments that make cleaning my dog's hair out of the car a lot easier.
I bought this vacuum and was pretty excited when I put it together with just one screw. It worked great on hard wood floors. I rest it on my area rug as I was using the hose and it pulled the fibers out. After vacuuming earlier in the day and it working great - I moved to the carpets in the bedrooms. I realized that the hose had completely lost suction. This was after a couple of hours of use. Needless to say, it is being returned to Walmart.
I received the Bissell PowerGroom Compact vac in the mail and two days later I had to take it back to Wal-Mart! It was doing a fantastic job at first. Everytime I used it there was a ton of durt and dust in the cannister and my carpets were looking great, but on the second day of owning this vac I was cleaning out the bottom brush and noticed a series of holes in the foot hose that is located practically on the bottom of this vac. I assume it was from the hose being in constant contact with the carpet when it was in use and, seriously, within two days it was completely worn through! Instead of just purchasing a new hose, I got a different vac altogether. I wasn't about to keep a vac that needed replacement parts every couple of days. Thankfully, I had no problem with the return.
