Tires Flatspot Overnight!!!!!

I've run several different brands of tires (225/55 r16) on my vehicle (200,000+ miles) and have never experienced flatspotting. This car is my daily driver and anytime the car sits longer than 8 hour at temperatures below 55F, the tires flatspot and deliver a vibration felt by passengers and at the steering wheel until they build up temperature and soften (usually 3-5 miles of highway driving). This is something I would expect if they sat for a month, but 8 HOURS??? Sent an email to Nexen asking about this issue and a month later, it's still unanswered.
In summary, I would only recommend this tire if you live in a climate that doesn't get below 55F, or you never let the car sit for longer than 8 hours, or you don't mind the feeling that you are riding in a car for first 3-5 miles every day that has a serious tire balance issue. You've been warned!!!

These tires exceeded my expectations. I was leery on getting these tires from a brand I had not heard of, but when researching I saw a favorable amount of reviews on multiple websites. I believe the negative comments are due to individual tire issues and/or workmanship install issues.
These tires give me a quieter and smoother ride than my Toyota Corolla's factory Goodyear EAGLE RS-A tires. A LOT better!!
This tire has a 60k pro-rated warranty where my originals had only 'workmanship' warranty.
I also bought the $10/tire road hazard warranty and already had a construction-zone created flat which was covered.
These tires give me a quieter and smoother ride than my Toyota Corolla's factory Goodyear EAGLE RS-A tires. A LOT better!!

We bought these tires at Walmart less then a month ago. They seem to handle good in the rain and ride quiet. I would give them a five star rating but don't know how long they will last. Only time will tell.

The Nexen tires I bought in March of 2013 have not made me Happy Happy Happy. I bought these tires for a 2000 Mercury Grand Marquis and they ride "hard", kind of like Fred Flintstone rock tires. They don't grab the road and they have a persistent small vibration. It's really a shame that you can't test drive tires. I do not reccomend these tires for anyone.

I was researching the best tires at the lowest price when I came across the Nexen brand. At first I figured they were just a cheap tire, low quality. Then as I read the specs and all the reviews, I became really interested so I checked the background of the company. To make a long story short, I ordered 4 tires for my daughter's 2002 Honda Accord about 2 months ago. They arrived at the local Wal-Mart in about 3 days and they immediately installed them. She has gone through 2 snowstorms and an ice event with no problem at all !! She said her Honda has never handled that well in snow and ice with previous tires! !! Best $62 tire I have ever seen!! I would order a set for my Buick but, so far, can't find my size on line.

Great value in a performance tire

I used these tires to replace the original tires on a Nissan Altima. These tires provided far better handling and traction than the originals. They initially produced slightly more road noise but after a couple trips the road noise doesn't seem any more than on the originals.

CAR: 2004 Acura TSX. Purchased this car used at a dealership and they had put these tires on them. Lasted me three years, and today went and got them again, and they ride great. Driven them cross country twice and through thick snow and over 100 degree temps, no problem so far. Researched other brands, but nothing beats the price. Also, very very quiet. My exact size was the 215/50R17.

These tires are terrible in winter and also they offer a harsh ride and a lot of road noise and seem to wear fast. When i Switched to Bridgestone serenity Plus the ride and everything else was twice as wetter.

New tires for my Mimi Cooper S

After 23,000 miles my Mimi needed new tires. The Mini dealer recommended a set of replacement Dunlop tires for a price of $1,500! I had a good experience with Nexan on a 5-series and went looking on the net for Nexan tires for the Mini, Walmart popped-up.
I bought the tires on-line, and they were delivered to a local Walmart, a few days later. I was very impressed with the entire transaction - simple! The technicians were great and took care not to damage the rims, great customer focus!
The tires have a great ride and a nice look. I would highly recommend the Nexan and Walmart for the purchase - all-in I saved $1,000 over the Mini dealer!

I'm driving 09 honda accrod. 55000 miles on it. Time to change tires now so i decided to surf around. Honda installed Michelin tires which i found about $210 average. Finally i decide to give try and purchase 4 of this tires and i'm glad now that i did. Its been 3 days now and i feed really good drive. My car was too noisy before but now its very quite. I do not write reviews after purchasing any product but this might help lot other people to decide which one is better for their money.
Next month i'm going to buy for my wife's car (honda pilot).

excellent tire for the price. very quiet and smooth. not bad looking either. only gripe is that Nexen has zero customer service skills, at least do not try to email them as they do not reply but this is not taken into considering for the review. Great tire, questionable service.

Put these on my Bonneville 6 months ago at first they road a little hard over bumps and potholes but after break in (about 3 weeks) they soften up a little and now you can hardly feel the bumps. These tires hold the road and respond like a sports tire. They wear like iron and still look hardly used and are great on long trips. They produce little to no road noise even at 75mph and ride like a touring tire. I am buying this brand for my SUV because you cannot beat the price and the performance. I would buy these tires again.

tires are nice and quiet and hug the road good. the only thing i didnt care for was the 8$ charge per tire to balance them at the store. i always thought balanceing was part of the mounting process. who knew.

I replaced factory tires at 49000mi with Nexen N5000 P215/55R/17 on 2009 Sonata, now mileage has dropped 6 miles per gallon, thats a lot. Would not recommend these tires.

best $58 dollars per tire I ever spent!!! I have a Camry SE ...always had Dunlop's - as soon as I started to roll on these new tires what a difference, smooth, sure footed and excellent in the rain...felt like they were stuck to the road! Nice and quiet...no more roar from them Dunlops!!!

All I can said if you drive in the least amount of snow or ice I would consider a different tire. Nexen should not have rated this an all season tire in my opion. Would have been better advertised as a summer seasonal tire. Tires had no traction in the snow or ice with my car, had good traction on dry pavement fair on wet pavement. I had purchase a $300 set of Douglas tires for my other car from Walmart a few weeks earlier, for me a better tire for the money. Walmart is a great place to purchase tires and have your oil chages done!

I have check so many website..still the best deal for my Camry SE. Not sure where I can still find a performance tire for $89 .....good for my wallet. Bought 2 tires for the front only..cash is tight, need to budget. Just make sure you opt out all the installation option..
